Last night on CTV News or on Global News at six they said that Australia made up a list of the top ten worst shows. And I believe that Baywatch topped the list. That remides me of a quote from the Red Green Show on the CBC...... But I digress. Okay I was just wondering what would be your top ten worst shows? You can post ten or five. Number one would be the worst show okay?
Now I would have to choose King of Queens not as a crappy televsion show but if I have to see one more episode on UPN.........

But i reckon 'Friends' has to rate somewhere in there. You got a bunch of guys which the only thing they do, is try to get hooked up with their girlfriends. Don't they have anything else better to do?

I am not very fond of reality based shows in general. Although all reality shows don't qualify for this topic, there are far too many that would qualify to list them here.

Any show involving make overs, make up, "transformation" and so on (that would be 50% of tv shows on TLC) for first place. (Ambush make over; what the h*ll is this, if i remember correctly an ambush is never good...and so on)

Second goes to all those "reality" shows, it not reality.What would be the odds of me being stuck on an island with 11 other people? I'm not a rich old guy, with a wannaby-rock-star daughter. I'm not blond, I don't live in los Angeles, I'm not sneaky and I don't use other people as tools, when I want reality I just go out side.(Amish in the City; What?why not "Computer Freak in the Jungle"... and so on)

In Conclusion great shows are getting cancel for lame stuff, (Andy Controls the Universe any one?)...I think it's due to the pressure on executives/writers to make "fast selling" show, it's sad but it's the produce of capitalism, I guess.

Oh, god yes! I agree with you. I couldn't believe Andy was cancelled and I know more great shows are going to be cancelled if they don't start pulling in some great ratings. Right now I'm rooting for Arrested Development to be saved.
I don't understand why there are so many reality shows now if everyone seems to hate them.

well it's basically because it's easy to make (you don't need scritps or any "timing", it all about editing), it doesn't cost much to make and it's seen by allot of people (because it's like a soap opera and when you start viewers are push to keep on watching show after show).

So it's perfect for broadcast compagnies, just hope they won't remove AD ( that family dynamic is so weird) for My Big Fat littlest Million Dollar groom who want's to marry my switch Mom.

3) Road Trip - a couple of blonde dingbats who think being mentally retarded is cool travel around in their 100,000 truck.

4) Queer Eye for the Straight Guy - Not a homophobe, but these guys really give gay men a bad name. Here is a group of uppity metrosexual gay men who think they are perfect perform "makeovers" on normal people. I'd like to see the footage they cut out, where the person gets insulted at their insinuations and beats the crap out of them.

I agree with Panther and Dowdy on this one. Friends is NOT funny in the least bit. Bt that's just me, and humor tends to be very culutral. And Panther has a pretty good list, except for WB. 99% of it's shows are crap, with the exception of Fresh Rpince of Bel-air, the ONLY good show on WB

What do you class as a bad TV show? Personal ones you dislike I suppose, because many TV shows are aimed at a speific audience, and of course if Im not part of the audience I may find that show to be a little off beat, therefore my opinion of it is not so high.....

For example Friends, whilst its not the best show ever produced, it manages to hit the target audience it aims for, with its popularity through the roof and such. If it is succeeding in every avenue it has aimed for, how can it be that bad....

But thats my opinion.....

I hate almost all reality tv, plus taxi cab confessions and such also...

3 words. The Biggest Loser. I think its terrible to design a show based off of other peoples misfortune. in this case, its obesity.
