That would most likely be the infamous, and widely disputed, October 20, 1967 Roger Patterson/Bob Gimlin footage. Taken in Bluff Creek, Callifornia, this is considered by some to be the utmost proof of the existence of an unknown, hairy, bipedal hominid living in North America, while others see it as the biggest hoax of the 20th Century. I have my opinions, as I'm siure everyone else does, but the argument on its validity continues to this day.

Yeah really... my girlfriend and I are starting a paranormal website.database, and I'm interviewing big names in the field, and I'm interviewing him for the sheer hell and hillarity of it. Let's hope I keep my sanity and grasp on reality...
To be continued...

Monster Boy's brief appearance here was a wholly unpleasant one, as it has been at just about every other forum he has imposed himself upon. I've removed your link WGL, he can track referring websites and we wouldn't want to give him the false impression that anyone is interested in anything he has to say.

I believe the tape is real, when you consider it was made years ago before the costumes and special effects we have today.

That video looked too good to be true, and for the time, the suit was too well done, undulating breasts and all, flexing muscles etc.
The only thing that makes me cling to lingering doubt as to its validity, are the casts of footprints purportedly taken after the sighting; they were too deep--the animal would've had to been upwards of a thousand pounds. If Patterson just left it at the sighting and didn't get carried away with faking prints, I'd be as close to 100% believer as you could come without being there.
Fake or not, one hoaxed video doesn't stand as absolute proof for or against the existence of the creature.

Yeah, it was some fun, alright..Anyway, to hyuugaNeji, Patterson was chasing the creature, supposedly. He fell of his horse because it reared up when the creature was spotted and then got up and ran after it. Hence the shaky camera work. He claimed he couldn't even begin to keep up with it since it's legs were much longer than his..

Only a fool would go running into the bush after a very large unknown creature, especially without protection.
