I am originally from Bathurst, New-Brunswick, Canada, where we have a legend of a supposed ship carrying settlers that was set on fire by the British navy in the 1700s. You can supposedly see it off in the distance on foggy nights. You can see firy forms falling fo the side of the ship, supposedly the bodies of the settlers. I have many friends who claimed to have to see it, and even my grandfather claimed so , but I have never seen it myself.

Cool stuff Feenix Fire. I haven't done much research on the internet about the Phantom ship. What I know is mostly from other people's stories from around the region. I wish I could have seen it when I lived there. All those nights along the bay where I waited and saw nothing...lol. But my grandfather is no liar, and he claims he had seen it when he was about twenty years old.
