Any invasion would not be as we know it....such as America invading Iraq.More likely it would be a slow process of manipulation and brainwashing and then come as friends and take what you want....could be happening already.Look at how much more the populations of the so called free countries are controlled now.....ye cant take a piss but they know about it........and they've got silly people actually believing that bombing innocent women and children for their countries resources makes you a patriot...!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well why did we build the ISS? Go to the moon? To learn of course about what's out there and what's going on. Maybe to 'them' we are a living biology lesson so they are watching us to learn about evolution?
In my opinion 'they've' been here the entire time.......poking and prodding us along......just an opinion of course, no links or articles to back it up....just a hunch

Unfortunately not, after the story ran, is disappeared into obscurity. You could try and search on the net for it. I remember the article very well, it had a picture of a 747, with some sort of round ring thing attached inside, in a cut away diagram.
Of course it's possible that we're on the same level as insects to them.
They're studying us, but won't do anything else because we're not worth the time for them to invade and wipe us out.
Another other option is that they have advanced space flight, but otherwise aren't too much further along then we are. An invasion would be too cost prohibitive for them to carry out.
On the same token Humanity has been at war for a very long time. If another species didn't have centuries of war to push forward military spending, it's possible that we're so advanced of them that they could never hope to conquer us.
Realistically I think we've already made contact and the Governments are holding the truth from us to keep people from panicing. But that we are being funneled or trading for some technological advances very slowly.

They wouldn’t attack us where like animals. Unless they can eat us use us to make cloths or from some other resone they will just leave us alone. Well we could be a protected animal as well inter galactic comity deeming us protected because we might grow to become a powerful space conquering planet.

One time in this documentary I saw, a UFO sighting took place.

2-3 pilots were on a training mission. The were going at an ordinary plane level, travelling along the clouds. Then they detected on their radar screen that there were unknown objects surrounding the pilots, almost in a 360 degree circle.
They radiod(sp?) mission control and they too cannot identify the craft. The pilots decided to speed up to a random spot of the grouping craft. But when they got close enought, the crafts all-of-a-sudden dissapeared. The pilots returned to base and consuleted with Mission control.
In less than an hour, Mission Control radars detected the large numbers of unknown craft once again and the pilots are scrambled once again. But the same situation happened. When the pilots got to near, the unknown crafts fleed.

Has anybody considered the scenario of us invading "them" first?
Think about it. Let's say that generations after generations, in 800 years from now, we have the technology for interstellar travel. We discover that immense wealth in the form of raw material exists in a planet, of which inhabitants are in a cave-men level of technology. What would we do? "Respect" them and obey to the honor code, or just wipe them out and take their valuable materials?
Ah, I know..
Maybe we'll find out that there is a disagreement among them, and we'll send special forces to "liberate" the oppresed ones.
