The Illuminati, I think, was an organisation started in about 1770 because the guy didn't like how the church was in control. It was started to bring down the governemnt or something. I read that they started off as a good organisation but became evil and successfully infiltrated Free Masonry. They did actually exist but there's false facts about them so it's hard to find the truth. Some say it was stopped before they achived real power, but others say that they continued to grow and took over the government to create a New World Order. Sometimes they're also refered to as hybrid Reptilian-Nordic-human aliens that started human life or even demons that members of the Illuminati are said to summon.
