Ok I have read somewhere (i try and find it exactly) that Atlanteans had not only technology far beyond our own, but that they possessed gifts that were intuned with nature (or something like that). Is it possible that those gift were psychic powers, like telepathy, TK, PK, EK ,etc...? It is just a thought....

They increased in knowledge as did the Myans and Aztecs and mankind over the last 50 years. You have to use your imagination as to your answer but you'll probably find it in the extra terrestrial forums.

If you will read Plato's original (and the only) account of Atlantis, you will find that it describes a society that really isn't as advanced as people like to say that it was. Most of the attempts to source nuclear power and aircraft are some rather wide stretches of thematic devices used throughout history by writers to express their vision of what a futuristic world would entail. The "advanced" nature of the Atlantis story is similar in credibility to the advanced science found in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

The story of Atlantis has long been known by scholars as being a metaphor used by Plato as an allegory to describe the effects of the wars on Athens, and the consequent destruction from entropy that he felt the society was undergoind. There were no survivors in the story of Atlantis, which emphasized how no citizen could escape the consequences of the country's actions.
