As I'm sitting here on the computer, Werewolf of Doom is sitting next to me and playing our PS2. Recently we've gotten the game "Dog's Life", where you take on the role of Jake the dog to save your friend Daisy from some dognappers. Not 15 minutes ago, Werewolf got to the final level. Now, it's rated T (Teen) for "crude humor", but that's not all. At the final level (a cat food factory), your friend Daisy is about to be made into cat chow. Yes, the cat food is made from dogs. If you should fail, she gets sliced, diced, mashed, and the like...*shudder* There's a whole bunch of the machines that do the "dirty work", like rotating spiked wheels and gnashing crushers. Then, there's these spinning gears on robotic arms, and they're totally covered in blood. When you do free Daisy, you're confronted by the main villan in a short movie segment. She has a shotgun and says, "Get your doggie asses back into that machine!" I was laughing, by the way. Then she falls back into the machine and she gets ground into cat food. Major eew. On a lot of gaming sites, they said Dog's Life was suitable for all ages, but I beg to differ. I mean, most kids can handle it, but you might get disturbed.

Oh yes, and in case you are wondering, I don't often play M rated games. T is usually my extent, not liking major gore, but I do play GTA occasionally at my friend's house.

Other than that, it's quite child-friendly. And lots of fun to run around as a dog and annoy people. I like playing fetch; at first I never understood why my dog finds chasing after a ball so fascinating. What Werewolf had me do when she was on the finale was play the song "Holding Out For A Hero", and it really suited it.

Well, Werewolf and I are twelve, and at first I just thought the gears were plain red, but she pointed out the smears and splatters near the blades. I would have been happier if she hadn't told me.

*shudders* maybe its not so cute after all it sounds disturbing honestly. i think the cuteness is just a cover

People make some wierd games these days. Have you guys ever heard of the game fishman? It's a game where you raise a fish with a man's face. Anyway, when Fishman is fully grown, all it does is insult you. Who would buy a game that? But about this Dog's life gae, it's a good concept for a kids game, but why would they twist it and make it so wierd? I just don't get some people.

I could hurl off a good insult or two at 'im... But that's weeeeird...

games dont really disturb me, but a game that did suprise me with some of its violence was Run Like Hell. it is rated M and really deserves to be. a lot of gore and violence and swearing. but the coolest part was in the beginning where this HUGE ass alien jumps down from the ceiling, picks up this girl who is your parter and bites her head off so there is blood spraying out of her neck. then the alien spits the head at you, but you dodge it and it flys into a compter. then it chases you. the game is very good and really fun. but quite disturbing if you think of games that way.
