do you think the government watches this site being its very popular, people talking about the government,aliens,ufo,area51,conspiracies,secret societies ect... do you think that the government has people on here pretending to be one of us when really they are just spying on everyone on this site.what does everyone think? bounce.gif
Frosty
If they did, it what be a complete waste of US tax dollar, though I suppose people who work for the government visit the site, it is not in their line of work. I know at one point in time there were police monitering the activity on another similar site, but that was due to the sites archive of explosive technologies and illicit drug information (ie how to make a fertilizer bomb like McVeigh or how to make your own crack)
riotboy555
yea, if the government was watching this site, it'd be a waste of time and of money. if they were, don't you think it would have been shut down awhile back, especially since so many people here say they know what is really going on?
pRoDiEuS
i was watching a show a while ago that said i think it was the CIA that had people monitoring different chat rooms so why not a site such as this one. think of it if any one is going to find out the truth its going to be more than likely people like us people that go on sites such as this.

I severely doubt it. We are not grouped enough, or in the samemind set enough. We squabble and argue, agreeing sometimes, but not others. I think they would be more concerned with us if we were all on the same level and constantly discussed things as a group together. But even if we did, our numbers aren't great enough tyo start convincing thr masses just yet.

The government watches the main sites I'm sure to track leaked documents, or to alter them just enough to keep us off the trail.

What show was this? How can I find out more information about this? It wouldn't surprise me at all. The CIA is prectically the biggest evil in America. If they are reading this, then I say give me your best shot! I'm not afraid to die in trying to get the truth out to the people. Nor am I afraid to take up arms to defend myself from the lives of you scum! Bring it on, fat boys!

I'm relatively new here, and I can pretty much tell you straight up that Insight doesn't have an empty brain.

What interest would the CIA or any other governmental entity take in this site? Makes no sense to me at all. People discussing anything from the Mothman to Astrophysics is a threat to national security?

Paranoia is a dangerous, dangerous thing.

So you think we're all being watched by posting here?

Every paranormal issue has a fantastic potential of revealing the truth. Spend more time in it; and as time subsides, hopefully you would understand what I'm saying at the current time. original.gif

You've got empty brain.

I don't think you really read or understood what I was talking about. I wasn;t saying it was impossible for a government agets to be monitoring us. I was explaining why they probably would not bother to. Obviously they could be watching us. Obviously anyone could transmit messages about anything to anyone on this form. What I was talking about was motive, insentive, and probability.

Sounds to me like you are needlessly avoiding the information and questions we present to waste our time with insults. I'm not trying to be anyones enemy here. Why are you?

? A terrorist could use any forum to pass messages obviously, huh.gif You must have an "empty brain" to misunderstand. whistling2.gif
I think the the poster meant like an X-files type unit checking out the latest strange happenings in the world,Abductees etc.
I doubt it though, although this site is informative,I dont think theres any groundbreaking information being discussed here that shadowy government agents are would be interested in. ph34r.gif No disrespect to U.M.com! thumbsup.gif

I doubt it but they might have some kind of filter on this site that searches for anything that might have something they don't want other to know, but the chances are small. There's nothing that sensitive hear from what I see. I'm sure there are plenty other websites like this but much more likely to be monitored because of the content that it has. Maybe even leaked information.

Now that I can actually believe. The reports of the FBI and CIA monitoring certain catch phrases from email as those mails pass through central computers are right on the money....and they've admitted as much.

So I'm pretty sure that other types of information can be tracked as well.
