I know this may sound dumb! But I actually got a simple question what exactly are orbs suppose to be? I seen them in many pics here, but they look like messed up film to me.
So what are orbs suppose to be?

They're supposed to be the presence of spirits. They've been shown to be total bullshit.

How? I think they're forms of energy that have/carry spirits/how spirits travel inside them.

Dust + ppl desperate to believe = orbs

Dust on lens, possible sometimes camera glare or raindrops.

Dust magnified by the camera lens looks like a round orb, which as Murry pointed out coupled with gullible people who are desperate to believe anything they possibly can, gets turned into spirits.

Very silly.

the true definition of an orb is a ball of energy, it has its own flight path, and emits its own light, orbs ARE REAL, but they do not mean a paranormal presense is present, all it means is that there is enough energy in the area to produce itself, an orb very well can be a spirit but it is impossible to prove, a lot of orbs that apear on photos or video are actually just dust reflecting light, or imperfections in the shot, digital cameras are known to create false orbs
