I've recently got some pictures developed from my September trip to Gettysburg and noticed the odd blue glow around this statue. If one is to look closely, there is also an orb between the legs.

I don't know what to think but it's a really nice picture. Maybe it's from the sun? Try posting this picture in the ghost section. I'm pretty sure someone will help you there!

The sun is behind the statue entirely. This would cause reflection and refraction seen around the statue, and also account for the lens flare under the statues legs. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Just a pretty picture.

sorry btu my first thought was the same as Insights...

The orb could be a single cloud that is out of focus, or maybe the entire sky is cloudy and there is one little opening, again it is out of focus so it will smooth the edges better.

I don't think its the Sun...the sun seems behind the clouds. The statues surroundings seem to 'dim' if the sun were to peep out of the clouds...

The orb, if it were a lens flare, I would think it would have to continure below the image, and would have been brighter and more solid looking....I've also never seen a lens flare being blue .....

It could have been a cloud, but the surrounding clouds aren't as blue as the 'orb', but looks to me more of a cloud...cause it just does.

cool pic but i think it is the rain evapourating off the statue but it could be anything
