Considering that they are speaking of a port, I would peg Los Angeles because it has a tremendous port in Harbor City. San Francisco is more a fishing port, which is currently changing, but not anywhere to the degree in respect to the size of the Los Angeles port. If there really was a god hellbent on killing a whole city of people who were supposedly all evil then how did humanity ever make it this far? There is probably a geological answer to the demise of these two cities...like an earthquake, and since people are easily brainwashed...religious leaders probably told the people it was their sins that caused it.
