From what I'm seen of Most Haunted, it's so horribly fake, it's got to be among the worst of recent times, that's for sure

I think Ghost Ship, 13 Ghosts, and The Haunting were all wastes of time. And, even though it was a scary movie, Poltergeist was a really bad representation of ghosts, and highly unrealistic.....

I remember that 13 ghosts could have been MUCH better but I didn't like it. I liked ghost ship but it really did use it's full potentional. I liked Poltergeist. I wish hollywood made a ghost movie that was as close to fact than fiction.

You should try to see the movie The Entity. It's based upon a true story of a woman that was menaced by a ghost that physically harmed her.

Blair Witch 2 was probably the worst ghost movie I have ever seen. Hell, it was the worst movie period.
As far as the movie that scared me the most in the theatre, that would be the grudge. I know the story line in non-existant, but those jump scenes were really done well.
Poltergeist was definately crap. So was The Haunting.
But I think my favorite Ghost type movie would be "House on Haunted Hill". It's a classic.

Any Stephen King book made into a movie, they just don't seem to translate well on to the silver screen. I love his books hate they movies.
Sixth Sense, hated it.

"El Chupacabra", which was a movie, sucked horibbly. I swear, it was comedy, not horror. The acting was terrible!
