marylin manson was originally supposed to play wonka. but they changed it to make the movie more family oriented.

Manson could never have pulled it off. This is a Depp role, through and through.

It's 100% Depp, every second of it. I love it, it looks pretty good.

For some reason the trailer creeped me out..maybe it was them dolls or something...hm.

The physical comedy that defines Johnny Depp never ceases to amaze me. I am a big fan of Tim Burton as well even though he insulted Kevin Smith in the New York Times and made a mockery of Batman.

Tim Burtons batmans were great, compared to the followers....

I look forward to seeing this....

it looks good, and it seems to be more like the book than the original movie, which is the best movie ever. it even has the title of the book.
