The pinned topics always stay at the top of each individual forum. However, they used to also stay at the top of the 'New Posts' page too, but for about a month now they've stopped staying at the top and actually cascade down with the other non-pinned threads now, so when you hit 'View Nex Posts' the pinned topics aren't at the top.

I was just wondering if this was intentional, or if we'll see a return to the pinned topics at the top of the 'New Posts' page. I liked them there.

I haven't actually changed the system for displaying pinned topics at all, so I can't explain how it could have stopped doing that.

I don't use the 'view new posts' option very often, so i haven't noticed one way or the other whether pinned topics were at the top or not. Unfortunately I have no idea how to change it either, it's not something I've ever tried to modify before.

It could be that a Moderater had unpinned the items, as they were no-longer of any use.

They're still pinned topics though. For example your topic, 'T'was the night before Um' does not stay pinned at the top of the 'New Posts' page, it cascades down. I found it on the third page. They used to say pinned at the top. But of course it stays pinned in the actual forum it was posted in.

I first noticed this the first time you changed the forum markers to the little envelopes Saruman, about 2 months ago i think. It's not important however.

o_O Thats weird, its not happening to me, its staying pinned at the top and don't move. Maybe its a problem server side, when you log on the site, and somewhere along the line the forum is failing to load properly/arse about face.

SO when you hit the 'View New Posts' link at the top of the page, all the pinned topics are displayed at the top as usual?

Bizarre. I don't think it's a problem on my side, since i use several different computers a day here.
