interesting as I did. smile.gif

Here are 3 True stories of people who have all had Life
saving Heart Transplants and their experiences.
Evidence is emerging of patients receiving new hearts and
with them the personalities of the dead organ doner.
Although the patients knew nothing about the donors,
they "remember" the donors family, their names and even how
they died.
Read the following remarkable testimonies and then judge
for yourselves...

Sarah & Susie
Sarah, 19, was killed in a car crash. Her heart was
transplanted into Susie 29.

Sarah's Mother said:
Sarah owned a health food restaurant and would constantly scould
me for not being a vegetarian. She was wild, but a great kid. It
seemed she had a different guy in her life every few months.

Susie said:
" Almost every night I could actually feel the accident my Doner had.
I can feel the impact in my chest. And before the transplant I loved
burgers. Now I really hate meat.
But the most incredible thing is before the transplant I was gay.
Yet now I'm engaged to be married. I think I must have had a
gender transplant along with the new heart."

Timmy & Daryl
Timmy, 3, died when he fell from an apartment
window. His heart was transplanted into Daryl 5.

Daryl said:
"I gave the boy a name- he's younger than me. I call him Timmy
He's just a little kid, about half my age. He got hurt when he fell
down.
He likes Power rangers alot, just like I used to.
I don't like them any more, though."

Daryl's Mum said:
"Timmy fell to his death trying to reach a Power Ranger toy.
Daryl won't even touch his anymore."

Daryl's Dad said:
"Daryl never knew the name of his doner or how old he was.
What is spooky is that he not only got Timmy's age right and
some idea of how he died, he got the name right, too."

Jerry & Carter
Jerry died at 16mths. His heart went to a
baby called Carter. Jerry's parents first met Carter when he
was 6.

Jerry's Mum, Sarah, Said:
"When Carter first saw me, he ran to me, pushed his nose
against mine and rubbed. It was exactly what we did with Jerry.
And though Carter is 6, he was talking Jerry's baby-talk words.
We stayed with Carters family and in the night Carter came
and asked to sleep with my Husband and me. He cuddled
between us just like Jerry did. We began to cry. Carter told us
not to cry because Jerry said everything was ok."

Carter's Mum said:
"I saw Carter go to sarah. He went to her just like he'd run to
me when he was a baby. He whispered to her: "It's ok Mama."
I broke down.
When Carter met Jerry's Dad for the first time, he ran to him
hugged him and said: "Daddy".
We were flabagasted. How could he have known him? I asked him
why he did it. He said he didn't but Jerry did and he went with him."

CAN IT REALLY HAPPEN? wHAT THE EXPERTS THINK...
The scientists who carried out the research on these transplant
patients say doners thought and charactistics could transfer to the
recipient through somthing called "Cellular Memory".
They claim memories aren't just stored in the brain, but also
througout the body, including the heart. Prof Gary Schwartz and Dr
Linda Russek of the University of Arizona, and Prof Paul Pearsall of
the University of Hawaii, say: "The findings appear too coincidental
to be accidental".
Dr James Hurtak of the Academy for the Future Sceince agrees:
" These results imply that some form of memory of who we are, what
we've done, our likes and dislikes, is part of our DNA."
During 2000-2002, the UK Transplant Support Service Authority dealt
with 447 heart, or heart and lung, transplants. Medicledirector Chris
Rudge says:" We are aware of the suggestion that transplant recipients
may take on aspects of the personality of the organ doner. While not
discounting it entirely, we have no reason to believe it happens. We
would be interested to see any definitive evidence that supports this idea."

Mystify
I must admit it definately puts a smile on your face....
Wonder if it's the spirit living on, or actual memory cells merging with existing ones on the new body.....
Weird.... but also touching.
Space Moose
I wonder if those with transplants from other animals (monkey or swine) have any similar experiences.

Personally, I think it all sounds a little too fanciful. I mean, if you needed a heart transplant, there must have been something very wrong with yours. I would think that this would lead to a variety of changes in your life after the surgery.
Illumin8
its impressive stuff, the body is a wierd and wonderful thing though, just look at amputees who get an itchy foot thats not there! Wierd!
