I was in a Media Studies lesson today at school, and we had a guest speaker who was a free lance camera man, he told us that he had filmed for many TV shows one of the more recent one's including 'Most Haunted', which is only broadcast on sky, he then went on to tell us how he personally witnessed the whole show being faked. For one all of the people involved in it are actors, and secondly all the noises you hear are made by the camera crew to create suspense and effect, while the actors recite a scripted performance!! He also told us that all though very convincing Deric Occora is a fake who is told how to act and react all the way through the show!! I personally think the program is crap anyway and cant see why anybody would want to watch it!! What do you think? please send and personal replies to joshwood80@hotmail.com

Did anyone really have to confirm it was faked, I thought it would have been obvious

I thought it was pretty obvious too....even if you take away the deliberately "spooky" way of lighting the place, the acting is so dire I don't see how it could fool anyone.

It's called dramtics! Of course every show does it! It's to make the show dramatic! I've never seen the show damned basic cable! Who cares that it's faked? As long as there's something new on television to watch don't wail about it!

I love watching MH, but its just entertainment. It annoys me when people whine about tv programmes - if you dont like it, don't watch it. Its pretty simple really.

If you watch an episode of Series 1 then Series 4, you can clearly see how 'sexed up' the show has become, but, like I said, it gives me something to watch on a Tuesday night and I love it, it gives me ideas of where to visit myself...

Oh, and Derek Acorah is very eccentric, but he is controlled too much on that show. I've met him in person, and he is a genuine medium, I have no doubts about it after I met him for myself.

LivingTV (UK) and FTN (usually around 9pm GMT) dont know if you get either of those in the States.

When you are feeling depresed ,pop a tape in of most haunted and hey presto non stop laughing for hours
