Yes, men do produce estrogen, just of course not as much as women. And a person can have high levels of both hormones. You know, we all start out as females at conception, just some additional hormones at a later stage in development form males.

Interesting fact: Stallions, rattlesnakes and the typical 'jock' (like football player) have been found to have high levels of both hormones.

Also whats amazing is how the female thinks about doing different hobbies than men. I mean, men have lips and so do women. Do men put lip gloss, lip liner, and lipstick on their lips? No, but women do. Men have nails but do we paint our nails, put fake nails on, and paint fake nails? No, but women do. Its amazing between the differents of a male and a female, but were both still the same species, human beings. Male and female have two totally different sides of personalities that the changes are dramatic! Anyone think about that?

I think a majority of that is strictly cultural. I've seen pics of a tribe (oohh...the name escapes me...) where the men paint themselves elaborately, dress in feathers, and basically parade around to impress the ladies. (no, not Marde Gras...) And remember Victorian era gentlemen? They were powdered and coiffed just as much as the women.

And I must add, I rarely put anything on my lips unless they are chapped. Not a fan of make-up. And I can't remember the last time I painted my nails. But I get your point.

Todays society is terrible, in my eyes, never worse. The society corrupts, mutilates, and steals everything meaningful and then eithers destroys or blows it out or proportion in a heartless, greedy lust.

You do not have to follow in the horror of the pop star's footsteps, Britney Spears, in order to fall into the ranks of the stereo typical view of one sex. Insight, the source of all your disdain towards the common female is caused by society.

The trend is getting blond hair to look sexy for females, and fairly long, "sk8er" hair for males. You should try and make educated, uninfluenced opinions that come from the heart, and not follow in the footsteps of those terrible ones before you.

I encourage people to stray away from the norm. "Girls are supposed to play with dolls while boys play with trucks." It doesn't matter what toy you choose, let the child make these decisions before they are tainted and don't force anything like this upon them.

In the end, society can be a good thing, but now it seems to be so radical and sinister that people would live better lives with total social eradication.

Greek hoplites (during Alexander's rule, Alexander!) were feared by enemies, ESPECIALLY the homosexual ones. the video game industry is extremely male dominated. this world has defined what men should do and what women should do, to a point where people are so ignorant and pigheaded. another reason why i want to go into the video game industry. personally i love all types of video games, violent or rgps. people give me weird looks when i tell them that i play video games and read comic books obsessively. i dont mind the looks, they can look all they want. its just the ignorant comments that really piss me off.

Actually alcholism is generally a higher risk for Woman as there bodies do not metabolise alcohol at the same rate as men and yet we constantly try to put ourselves on the same level . Many woman I have known would try to drink there friends under the table , wether they be men or woman . It just isn't so. We can't drink as much we shouldn't even try , it doesn't matter if your taller or larger than other woman your body will still process alchohol at roughly the same rate .

and as a woman I enjoy netball, rugby, chess , cooking , reading , painting , drawing and trying things I have never done before . I was never into Barbie and detest the colour pink , it isn't even a real colour . It's wannabe red.

I'm with you Kismit, my hobbies are restoring a hundred year old house which includes painting, carpentry, digging new sewar lines, (not my favorite but had to be done ) stripping woodwork, plumbing, etc.... Not to mention scuba diving, working on cars, landscaping, hikeing, cooking, sailing, just to name a few. I've never been a girls girl. I detest shopping, lunching, gossip and so many other things women seem to love so much (or supposed to anyway).

Oh, I forgot, I'm doing my first mosaic tile wall. Started out small but it's turned into a seventeen foot long six foot high mural. Lordy, I do love bashing up those tile.

Oh and I like furniture restoration and building stuff, thanks Michelle . Paint stripping is something that allways seems to be going to be done later in our house but painting is a job my husband and I fight over .


And and and Martial arts , I love my Tae-Kwan do and have a mighty impressive jumping front kick Hiiyaaaaaa!!!!

Sadly, my martial arts skills have gone WAY by the wayside by about fifteen years. I've still got some good moves left in me though. We are setting up a room now with a full body punching bag so I'm trying to get back in the swing. Who needs to pay for a workout when you have all the work you can do to keep you in shape?

I hate it how people steyrtipically think that girls like dolls and barbies and make-up and boys like sports, gross stuff and video games! I would rather burn a barbie in a fire or chop it into bits with a huge kitchen knife than play with it! And I know some guys who have girls for friends, not love intrest! Man, this is gonna tottaly make me sound like a hippie, but here goes.

We are all equals, every one, brothers, sisters, we are humanity. Sometimes we must kill or be killed, other times we must love. It has no bearing on the situation whether we're white, black, male, female, or a hermaphrodite. There are reasons for everything. Males may overall be more predisposed to violence - but this is because of the gender stereotyping that facistly rules the lives of all humans. Females ( I know, this is changing, and I encourage this change ) are taught to do "pretty things" from birth - they get barbies and pink blankets and whathave you. Just like the reason why studies show that blacks commit crimes more often than whites. Well, look at the predetermining circumstances. Many police officers and officials are racists, first of all, and second of all, there are entirely more blacks living in bad parts of cities because that is originally where everyone lived pre world war 2 - then GIs got housing assistance and began to move out of the cities and build houses.. Then came the car boom because they needed cars to get into the city from the newly built suburbs, but I have digressed. It is hard to move up social statuses, especially when engrained in the code of the street - which flies much more than american law in the streets as so noted in the book "Code of the Street"...

In any event - man nor woman are evil - thoughts and actions are good or bad. Ethics, etc.

And Transform - even if guys do play more violent video games, so what? Just because someone plays violent video games doesn't mean they're violent. The whole scene got a bad rap from those a- well you know - those sickos who shot up columbine.

My aunt works as a surgeon in an emergency room and told me recently that she treats about an equal number of male and female victims of domestic violence

If you look at male/female stereotypes across the world today (and it's a big and colourful world), with the multitude of cultures, oppresive and liberal regimes, gays and sex changers, odd proffesions and weird&wonderful lifestyles all you can really conclude with any certainty is that women are the ones delivering babies and men are those that don't!
