I myself, have extremly low levels of testosterone. Im 14, wich is a point in my life where my body should be pumping the stuff out like oil out of iraq. But, due to the fact that I have taught myself complete control over my physical body I never get in fights anymore except in self defense. Females love to play/doe anything that interests them. I know of some females who box, play full-contact hockey, and beat their boy friends (For fun) Not all females hate war, heck, not all men love war either. Everyone loves peace, whether it be world peace, or peace in their lives.

I was kind of raised like boy because my parents have no sons. So I grew up climbing trees, driving tractors, building things out of wood and things of the like. The problem now that I'm 26 is it's hard to find a guy to stick with me for more than a couple of years. My instincts are to do things that guys do like watch football and drink beer. Guys really like that about me, at first. They say "oh, meet my girlfriend, she's one of the guys". Then a year or two later and people would ask what happened to that cool girl so-and-so used to date, "he broke up with her because she was just one of the guys". Guys have always felt a bit threatened by me because I hunt and fish and play sports competitively with the guys but, it's all I know......Bummer huh?

My mom didn't go fishing with my father to watch him fish. They competed over who could catch the biggest fish. Mom usually beat him too. My mom also use to go fishing buy herself. She hunted too and you can't be genteel to shoot a bunny rabbit.
She also could sew. Dad was the better cook, but Mom tried. Flowers, they both did that they were both great gardeners. I wasn't raised with gender roles. Men and women can take any role they want and sometimes they have too. Gender is not that important. Doing what you do well is what is important.

It's like comparing apples and apples of a different color, men and women are pretty much the same disregarding the plumbing. Their likes, dislikes, and abilities are probably more a product of their enviroment than their gender. Something I wonder, if a woman is a lesbian, shoudn't she want a real woman? Women are much more emtionally diabolical then men. A women wil take offense to things a man could never take offense to. "Did you SEE the way she looked at me? What's her problem?" And then they will carry out a ten day mission. If a guy looks at another guy wrong, he does only one of two things: Doesn't notice/care. Or, Punches the guy in the head. Women are crafty liers. Much more so, and differently than men. Women often feel they are doing some "civil duty" and are trying to protect someone's feelings when they lie. This can be seen evident in the "Lets just be friends" phenomena, just to mention one. Their tendency to blow things out of preportion also results in they themselves being lied to by men.

Lets say your boyfriend cheats on you and lies about it. First off, YOU were the one who chose to be in a relationship with him. YOU made a bad choice. No one forced you to be in that relationship. Infact, if you think you can, WE are the ones who are changing you. And yes, in reagrds to the armies following a gay general, homosexuality has not always had the same misconceptions as it does in modern times. There is no way to measure the stategic power or ability to command of a person based on what sort of sex they enjoy.

Female and male. Does anyone realize that our brain size and structure is almost the same (compared at the age). But our brains internally are totally different. The form is just amazingly fascinating how different a woman would think from a man (talking in general of an average person). The way women think have total opposites some times against men. It just fascinates me how oppositely the brain could think though its the same exact size, shape, and products of materials. Anyone think of it like this?

I was a Gender Studies minor in college, so I have always had not only a personal interest in this, but a scholarly one as well. There was book that I was assigned called 'Heroes, Rogues and Lovers: Testosterone and Behavior' by James Dabbs. It's a really fascinating read and helps to make clear how much effect testosterone has on EVERY SINGLE aspect of our lives. Despite some misconceptions, it's not a 'male' hormone, men just produce more.

I remembered one part in particular after reading Mysterman's post. A biologically born woman was undergoing hormone therapy to become a man after a sex-change operation. S/he was taking high levels of testosterone to complete the change over to masculine and here is what she wrote about some of the unexpected side effects of the increased testostorone levels:
