please take a look at them 2 articles.

ashley. Lets say in 20 years from now Cryonics revived the First person,  that person have been dead for 50 years.  But through Nanotechnology and advanced biotechnology he/she was rivived.

Would that person then have a soul, Would that person have seen heaven? What if that person said they experienced nothing and time went by in a blink of an eye because he didnt experience TIME because he was well...  dead.

Yes it is possible to revive certain animals, cells, brain  to the point where decay STOPS.  and some animals can be revived after they are thawed. Also we have frozen embryos for a long time , yes it was human life at the beggining, then after being frozen for however long they used it and now it was a human being.

Also what about when Humans Drowned and are dead for hours, the only reason they come back to life is because they were frozen, where decay was almost stopped.

I just would like to hear your answeres to them questions, actually any answer it. Even tho its not yet possible with technology, science says it may be possible with nanotechnology by repairing damage at celluar level

Can EVERYONE be lying and having delsuions? I don't think so. I too have had a near-death experience.

If you're asking about reincarnation memories, well, your really asking about soul memories. Some things may be retained if and if it was vital to this life. Physically, no memories wouldn't be retained in the brain because that's a physical property which perishes and dies.

As for where the soul goes in crygenetics, it would lay stagnant, I'd say, in the body, because it is neither dead nor alive. Some souls are said to 'sleep' I'm going to add. When someone claims to see 'nothing', that's probably why. Different souls go to different places, there's more to it than people seem to think.

Ok as for these 'hobbits' (from the article) I wouldn't be surprised what they found in Australia. It doesn't mean they are 'the missing link' They were either just small people, or they were apes. They had dinosaurs 40 million years after (by scientfic calculations) after they died out everywhere else. I don't think they were some new ape-man. Ok as for them saying that humans have souls and animals don't I've said before they DO. Humans aren't animals though. Science claims it taakes 'millions of years for planets to form' or which they have claimed to have seen. I'm sorry but advanced science has only been around for 100 years or so, so how is it they know what happens in 'millions of years'. They get ahead of themselves to explain the seemily unexplainable. The answers are there if they'd just bloody well look.

This was a comment from a priest on that board.

QUOTE
I am a priest in the Church of England and have no problem - indeed delight in - evolutionary theory. The interesting question for me is whether or not Homo floresiensis was/is self aware.
Wyn Beynon, Potton, Beds

Why is EVERYONE so willing (and the church itself) to accept science over God? Is being accepted so much more important than God? Why forsake God for science which has only really developed to what it is for about 100 years. Now, I'm not picking on this particular priest, I'm using his comments as an example of what's happeneing with just about EVERY Christian church. They have to make their mind up. They believe in God, completely, or they don't. No half measures. I don't personally give a f*** what anyone thinks about me and my beliefs, I'm entitled to have them.

This wasn't just aimed at you btw.

Scientists have unearthed remains of a primate that could have been ancestral not only to humans but to all great apes, including chimps and gorillas.
The partial skeleton of this 13-million-year-old "missing link" was found by palaeontologists working at a dig site near Barcelona in Spain.

well... This might be that missing link or it might not. We'll see.

But I guess in the end we'll have to agree to disagree

Tell me then if humans evolved from ape's then why are there still apes on this planets....

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. *wipes tears of mirth from eyes* You could talk fluently by the time you were one and yet you can barely hold yourself up in a simple intellectual discussion? *dies laughing* Wow. I didn't know you were a comedian.

You know what I despise? When people make accusations about a scientific theory they know absolutely nothing about.

If you can't even understand the basic fact that humans didn't evolve from apes, then I'm not even going to bother to explain to you the specifics of evolutionary theory. Go do some research before you post about evolution again.

Ok, thats it.. why bother even going on if you cant understand how anything evolves.

How do you think we get different strains of Flu viruses each year?

what does it do?

What does EVERY biological organasm do?

Its all written down in txt books

Don't bother, whoa182. You know the saying: ignorance is bliss.

infact, Both sides religion and eveloutionists have very good points. REligion has 1 great 1 about fossils and missing links . SO take a look if you can

Learn if you want. But to argue against someting you should be able to understand it first.

blazer2004
i never said i was talking with spirits this was out of a book so shush it tongue.gif
Fabulous
Here are some quotes that i think add a perspective

These quotes are from the book:
Love Without Conditions - Reflections of the Christ Mind
by Paul Ferrini

(p.20)
"There is no one else who is as hard on you as you are. Like all your brothers and sisters, you suffer from a basic sense of inadequacy and unworthiness. You feel that you have made terrible mistakes which will sooner or later be punished by humans in authority or by some abstract spiritual authority like God, or karmic law.
These unresolved issues of self-worth are the conditions of your embodiment. In other words, you are here to work them out. You selected your parents to exacerbate your guilt so that you could become conscious of it."

(p.49)
"This world is a school and you have come here to learn..."

(P.55)
"...no one can teach you to love yourself. That is the work of each Individual soul.
Each soul comes into physical experience intent to grapple with these issues of self-worth. However, very early on in the soul's sojourn here conditions are placed on its natural ability to love and add others in it"s experience.
Reversing these conditions is essential...."

Paul Ferrini claims to have channeled the messages in this book through Jesus.
(But that is an entirely different discussion.)
I believe there are a lot of universal lessons of unconditional Love, forgiveness, equality and compassion that we have all come to learn. This book has portrayed these lessons beautifuly to me.

(P.120)
" When the lessons of equality are learned on earth, the electro-magnetic field of the planet will change and earth will give birth to a new and more glorious curriculum. The seeds of this transformation have already been sowed. Your job is to water and nurture them."

Agreed, back on topic please

hyuugaNeji
reincarnation doesn't happen.
Bizeebutt
hmmm... care to enlighten us hyuu?? thats a pretty profound statement... anyone else care to join in the fun?
hyuugaNeji
the idea that one dies and returns in another form is just (poppycock)

EDIT: hyuugaNeji......using symbols to get around using swear words is not clever and not allowed. Also please bear in mind that MANY people DO believe in reincarnation. You are entitled to your opinion of course but in future please word it in a manner that is less offensive to other people.

Bizeebutt
have you read this whole thread?? there are other possibilities for reincarnation, like the one I mentioned. It doesn't say that reincarnation happens, just that as more and more people are born, there is a collective memory that we all draw on... this is like a species natural instinct. We all draw from one another, not so much in memories per se, but in experience.
Kat_Kloud
I don't know if I've said this before, but the reason I believe in "reincarnation"... as people call it... is because of the stars. If you study stars you'll see that stars are born from nebulae, the remains of other dead stars. Of course there is a difference between this and humans claiming to be born into an entirely different body, whereas the star is coming back with remains of its old one plus some dust and gas around.

I believe in it also because I think everything moves in some kind of sphere, unending and eternal. If the soul does indeed exist, which I believe it does, it cannot simply cease to exist. It would be ending the circle, the repetition.

As some people believe that heaven comes after life on Earth, and some people think nothing comes after life on Earth, I believe that another life comes after life on Earth.

Have you ever had a feeling that deep down inside you know something to be true? Like creationists and their god? Like evolutionists and their evolution.

It's simply another belief that can't be proven at the moment and might never be. Something you have to believe in yourself for it to be real.

QUOTE
“Well, she sort of lost her bodily form… but no, she never died. She just returned to her original form. Of course, I believe everyone, once they die, lives on… no matter what. We cannot simply just… cease to exist. I can’t even begin to comprehend what that would be like…”
“So… she really is still out there somewhere…” Seph said softly.
