The address that both the java and mIRC clients use to connect should still work without any problems, however if you are using mIRC and have problems connecting, then try the following :
On the connection options screen, click 'edit' to the right of the IRC network selection area, and change the IRC server address from 'chatnet.dnsalias.com' to 'chat.soothchat.net'. Keep everything else the same as it is, and then click 'ok'. That should hopefully solve any connection problems that you were experiencing.
If you were one of those unable to connect last weekend, try to connect normally before you try the above.
