I commented on antoerh topic about a ghost in my house but it's kinda dying off and on the second page.... what do people think of my story:
I'm pretty sure there is some type of spirit in my house.
Once in 6th grade my friend had come over to hang out and we were playing with the black light I got earlier that week. We were drawing stuff on our faces in the bathroom in highlighter (it glows really bright in the black light) when the toothbrush cup on my counter started moving really slow in a straight line.
I grabbed it while my firend said, "kat, no!" and I looked all over at it, but there was nothing strange about it.
Another time I was using the bathroom (yes, okay?) and I heard this scratching sound from the inside of the curtain. I thought it was my cat cause she likes to hide in there and play.
So, I finish doing "my thing" and I walk up to the curtain and scratch it back saying "Aw Mytney, whatcha doing back there? You're getting cat litter all over in the tub again aren't you?" and I whipped back ther curtain and, no mytney.
I was so scared.
After awhile I thought that maybe this ghost could be the ghost of another cat! As sometimes (outside of my house) I will always see a cat jumping from a rock wall at the corner of my eye, but when I turn it wouldn't be there... or I'd be in the car and I'd see a cat dive into the street, but there was none when I took a second look. I've always only seen it in the corner of my eye but the way it moves reminds me of the way a cat moves.
I always note the long tail behind it. So I've wondered if maybe this ghost is a cat. My cats like to paw at the cups on table and counters a lot also, so it wouldn't surprise me if all of this wa the cause of some ghost cat or something. I'm not araid of her anymore, I think of her as some kind of guardian.

Man there's gotta be some sort of secret society in UM telling people not to respond to any posts I make. There has to be.

Sounds like you have been blessed with the rare gift of "bathroomkinesis".
Lucky!

Yeah it's always the freaking bathroom. I've never had anything weird in my house happen other than in the bathroom. Freaking bathrooms!!! What sucks is when you're in there, most of the time you're alone and that's freaky.
All the other times I've seen it outside.
Except there was this one time when I feel asleep on the couch one night with my cat [my real cat, the LIVE one] lying on my stomach, and I wake up cause I heard her hissing and she was sitting up, looking behind me. It freaked me out cause I kept poking her and stuff and she just kept staring out into the dining room.
Lol, Ghostly dinosaurs. That would be plain freaky.

OMG never thought about dinosaurs being ghosts...Now that I think about it, we only see ghosts of things that exist. Does that mean that were picturing images out of our knowledge?

That's a good point right there. Although most of the time when I see weird stuff it always looks like little glowing orbs.

I mentioned this on another thread somewhere not too long ago, but since you bring it up, there is supposed to be at least one ghostly T-Rex in the world. It's near the Grand Canyon National Park at a place called Avasupai Gorge. The story goes that there are cliff paintings that bear a striking resemblance to a T-Rex, and it's puzzling because no one knows how Indians could have known what a T-Rex looked like. Well, one night an amateur anthropologist camped out on the cliff above them, intending to study them in the daylight the next day. During the night his dog started freaking out. He got up and was looking into the desert, trying to figure out what was scaring the dog, when he saw a T-Rex shimmer into existence, take a few steps towards him and then disappear.
Y'all sleep well tonight.

Some people seem to think that The Loch Ness Monster is a dinosaur Ghost... that might explain why some people see it and it can never be found:)
There is one thread on here about this already that I've found...

Speaking of dinosaur ghosts, here's an interesting story about the Ghost Ranch, a dude ranch where a lot of dinosaur skeletons have been found.

I've been doing a bit more doodling around on the net trying to find out about that dinosaur ghost story I read several years ago. I didn't find anything about the ghost story (I'm beginning to think someone invented it) but the "dinosaur" petroglyph is real. It's in Havasu Gorge near the Grand Canyon. Most of what you find about it is either "Young Earth Creationists" presenting it as a picture of a dinosaur and using it to back up their contentions that the Earth is a lot younger than science claims and people who oppose them making fun of them for "misrepresenting" the petroglyph as a dinosaur.
I tried to find out what it is supposed to represent according to those who don't buy the dinosaur theory, but all I've come across is a note that the petroglyphs are only dimly understood by modern Havasupai Indians.
I gotta say, it looks like a dinosaur to me. I wonder if any skeletons of that kind of dinosaur have been found near there? If anyone followed my "Ghost Ranch" link, you'll have read the story of how heat shimmers in the desert made a dinosaur fossil appear to be alive? Perhaps the same thing could have happened in this case, giving the ancient inhabitants a clue as to what dinos looked like? It's just a theory, but at least it IS a theory.

For a look at the petroglyph in question go to the Pangea Institute website. I'll edit in a link in a sec.

not to say this is or was a ghost but my best friend and i were riding our bikes through a cematry that is right down the street from my house late one night about 1 or 2 in the morning, the cemetary is big and on a hill, we started going down the hill towards the other side (this has always been our shortcut and still is) to get to my house faster and at the very top of the hill a dog started chasing us down it, we were on bikes so we easily out ran it, and i clearly saw it stop and head the other way after it gave up, upon us reaching the other end of the cemetary the dog was sitting there at the beginiing of the last streth to the exit, we rode right past it and it started chasing us again, we exited the cemetary through a big gap in the chain link fence, the dog stop chasing us once it reached the fence, never seen the dog again, no idea how it got to the other, could have been a ssecond dog, anyones guess i am very open minded at what you all may think this could have been
