I love reading about the universe. I've been reading up on the shape of the universe. The theory that has the most proponents now is that the universe is flat. They come up with these things by measuring the distance of microwaves

uhhh... actually, I can't remember the details, only the results.
I sent in a question, when I read this, about perhaps the universe is so infinitely big that measuring the triangle that they were measuring would be like measuring a smaller triangle here on earth. There is no curvature because the triangle is too small. It all sounds to much like the flat earth theory.
I *like* to think that the universe is round. Spherical in shape. Except, unlike the earth, there is no "outside". If you somehow managed to go around the entire universe you would come back to the point where you started. You would think that you are traveling straight (like on earth) but you are in fact going in circles.

You would eventually end up where you started, except you would be traveling through "space".
What is "space" anyway?
Oh, well, it makes sense to me and helps me sleep at night.
