You maybe indeed right. Qontrary to that indeed you may be wrong. I believe personally that there may be around 1-5 survivors. But.... if anybody would like to debate this matter your more than welcome.......

I was reading about this study they did on the longevity of Titanic survivors versus the general population and the Titanic survivors lived about 1.7 years longer than the average American. It will be interesting if they did the same kind of study over the next 100 years and tracked 9/11 survivors. I know that a number of 9/11 survivors died in that plane crash in Queens two months later and in the Staten Island Ferry crash as well.

Hmmm...that is an interesting study, dezavala. I wonder if having such a harrowing, nearly fatal experience will make you take better care or yourself and help you appreciate life a little more.

Very good point, and very likely. Unless you lose someone in that incident and turn to drink/drugs or whatever, that's the other end of the scale...

Found some useful information:

The chances of a survivor of/from Titanic living today by odds of the continuation of the years is 2.7% based on the fact that Titanic even occurred in 1912 and the year present is 2004. You would have to be pretty young in order to continue living. If you were born on 1912, you would now be 92. The average life span (European to American) averages around to about 1 - 65 or 80. (70 - 85)...The chances of surviving that Titanic event on 1912 is pretty low considering the fact that you would have to be pretty young on the ship in order to continue to be living today and the fact that the Titanic sunk and children had to continue floating above the below zero degrees water was very low. Though there are about 3 - 4 survivors left from the Titanic, 2 well-known and popular, the others are actually either in hospitals or not seen very commonly. Though for sure, 2 are still living...
