OK so here it goes I'm actually a professional magician and I perform frequently at a noth side theater/resturant. I as well as other performers and theater staff have seen some strange things the most impactful is what seems to be a woman in a dress running tword the back stairs. There have been phantom footsteps on a stair case put in 2-3 years ago this and the woman are two different staircases. I personally on this stair case have gotten an overwhelming feeling of being chased. this stair case was put in to replace one that was torn out the new stair case is in a different location. strange shadows on the wall that look like skulls have come and gone. I have also seen the apperition of the woman at the stairs. It sounds like a ghost or two or three to me we had a pshycic who confermed the prescence.

OK this is what I need to do I need to confirm a history because what wev'e got is hear say the info I have is the address 4437 N. Broadway in Chicago.

The builgding history is it was built as a church which we can find evidence that this is likely. Then it was a funeral home which I have been able to confirm through old obituaries of people who actually lied in state there.
then the 70's gets weird and hazy
apparently in the early 70's there was a porno studio in the place where there was a murder that took place. after that it became a methadone clinic.

then the 80's 90's are pretty sure about which is an apartment we actually have talked to freinds of people who had rented the space they always claimed of an uneasiness when they would visit. then came the resturant/theater.

the problem is finding the newspaper articels and such to prove the murder all we have to go off of is an address any ideas or may be someone knows something about this murder that is familiar with the uptown nighborhood.

Can't help you, but ask around, like the next door neighbors of the studio, see if you can get any leads, also try across the street, maybe put an ad in the paper?
choices
Maybe try calling your local news paper and news channel, get your community involved and make the issue known. Is the building an important part of history? If so phone local charities that can help support you in researching costs. Make sure you understand the questions you ask, make sure you understand the answers you get and most importantly if you get stuck on a answer that doesn't make sense..change the context of the question.
Best of luck to you and your quest
