Well, the other day I was taking a nap on the couch, I woke up, but had sleep parlysis, so I tried astral projection, and I got it to work. But I thought it was a dream. And then, I remeber this story my mom told that back when she was ina egypt, a jinn (basically a devil) held her down. I asked her to retell me the story and then said it was probably sleep parlysis, but she said she saw the jinn at other times to. She also said it felt like a dream but it wasn't. So maybe I really did astral project? but this is what puzzles me, I saw blue things that when I checked later weren't there. By the way, I think I went straight up, because the second floor balcony is right above the couch, and I was like maybe 2 feet behind it, and that's where I was, like directly over my body, but on the second floor. THe blue things I saw, is hard to describe, it wasn't an object I've ever seen before, but it was like an object, but not a tool, maybe it was something on the astral plane? I do not know, their were like arounda 3, maybe 4,a few of them. Anybody know abouth the object? Was I dreaming? has this happened to anyone before? Maybe I was astral projecting? I didn't feel floaty or light oranything, neitheir did I feel heavy though... I jsut felt there kinda.

IT happened again last night! but this time, I tried to break free, but couldn't, I tried climbing up on my bed, like sitting up right by climbing with my head. I succeeded, but not in reality, it was very weird, I was panicking, but it felt like a dream. Finally I said some quran, and after awhile I broke free, in reality. oooo need to leaves the lights on from now on...

The blue things I saw, I am not sure what you saw...probably astral orbs? A link to the ghost phenomenon that when you commit astral projection, you become more keen in seeing spiritual objects? I'm making guesses here , so don't take my word.

But what really interested me was your second post. You said that by saying a phrase from the Quran(sp? isn't Koran?), you broke free from....what, something that required you to speak the Quran...

Wouldn't that give you a hint, I don't know...that the Astral Plane, or the projection itself is something spiritual? Maybe Allah(God) had something to do with it.

Your second post just intrigued me, thats it...consider it a part of spirituality or your religion, it can't be exorcism for sure . Thats way to creepy...your not being controlled by a demon now are you ? j/k

You should try astral projection as a normal, regular, thing. Practice it, improve it. As for the orbs.......I don't know. I always see the energy of the universe.....like everywhere. It's really weird. The energy looks like it's vibrating and moving around.....It doesn't have a color, but it kinda looks like the faintest, faintest, faintest smoke.

I recalled my moms experience in egypt that she told me about, that's why I started saying quran, but I was so panicked that I could hardly get it right! My moms experience was one where she was being hled down by a jinn.

It could have been a lucid dream, since you said it felt like a dream but you had some control, primarely on yourself, not you setting. Maybe you were dreaming about your mothers story and subconciously awoke, reaching a lucid state... I had a lucid dream and it was similar. I never achieved AP though...

It could bit off your astral head then lick up the blood and throw your astral body down an astral botomless pit, very unlikely, good luck though

But isn't there supposedly a string that when you astral project keeps your spirit attached to your body?

When your astraly projecting you no longer are retained to your physical body, so in turn everything you see is not physically there either, they can't physically trap you out of your body or anything, unless someone hurts your physical body lol:P you wouldn't want that, then you woul dhave nothing to return to lol...

I'm reading a book on astral projection, and it said something about... I forgot the name that knows if you are being threanted physically, will snap you back to your boddy and wake you up, but like if it's a caring mother trying to wake you up, it knows you are not being threanted and lets you do as you will...

Well Id assume that true, like when your sleeping they say your astraly projecting, and whats a better way to wake someone up but to shake them up
