why would you think that God
wouldn't have any power over the spirits? I think in my opinion he pretty much leaves us to our own devices in the first place. We know the differences between right and wrong, but it is in our nature to do what we want sometimes and if we destroy ourselves in the process than we get what we deserve. To expect God to intervene whenever we put ourselves in these situations is kind of incredible for us to assume, but we do anyway. Sometimes he does and sometimes he doesn't, but we can't possibly hope to understand why.
So what exactly is the difference if he has control over people or ghosts? I believe he does have the power to whatever he wants, but he leaves our life and choices ultimately up to us.
As far as ghost hauntings and things...I myself have felt the same question...Why would God let this happen to me? Well...in my opinion, I think there there is a bigger purpose for me in my life and there are forces trying to prevent whatever it is I am supposed to do.
Perhaps its a test of what we can handle...or maybe we are meant to experience these terrible things to be aware of them for a future purpose?I mean, you can't exactly do something to benefit if you don't know the whole picture of what is going on in this world...

I don't know...but you can't really expect anyone to truly know either I guess. To each their own on this one!
