I can spin a psiwheel using no visable force, yet no psionic technique either. I could even vary my technique to accomidate various different environments. Many kids think a psi wheel can only be affected with said psionic ability. They sit there staring at it until it moves, and the second it does, they believe they have accomplished a psionic feat, not understanding the air current flow in their house, and temperature effects on the whell. Psiwheels are a complete scam in my opinion, and are leading our youth down the yellow brick road, if you catch my drift.

*Nods* I agree Insight, thats why I don't like practising because the psi-wheel is just too unreliable.



I was JUST thinking about that a week ago! When I was reading posts about bigfoot, I was thinking how they would keep searching until they found it, and never ever stop until they proved it.

Hell, if I could do anything good I would take up your thousand dollar offer. Psh, who wouldn't take the money!? I seriously think that if you say, "I don't want the money! I don't have to prove anything" then you can't do it and you are afraid of the truth.

Well, I'm going to practise really hard even if I may be wasting my time, but I s'pose it's somewhat better than sitting on the computer all day looking at forums. And when I get good enough, I'll go buy a webcam and give some proof. I just need time!

Thank you Syaoransbear, thank you, for suggesting grammer as opposed to teenie bopper abbreviations. I HATE teenie bopper abbreviations with the firey passion of 1000 suns. It just makes a person look stupid to everyone who knows how to type properly. I would have commented on this subject earlier but thought I was already disliekd enough as it is by the teenie boppers that plague this forum.

By the way, I saw your pic. You have an cutely unsusual facial structure. It remineds me of someone I know, but I can't put my finger on it just yet. Anyways, faces fascinate me. Being so young is why these kids feel that things like psychic powers exist. The only people who actually do claim to do these crazy magic powers are always under 17. The reason? Theya re to young to have a firm grip on reality, and do not understand the very simple fundalistic laws of existance.
PsycicPoida is a perfect example. He'll soon discover though that learning how to spell and use proper grammar is a much more important skill in the real world.

Burnside you speak from logic which comes from good cause, which I personally like. This all started out just as something to do, exploring. Not to argue with people, etc. I just come here to read information, false or not. Learning how to spell and use proper grammar is a much more important skill, but at the age he is in its not his main concern. Just knowing that you can do something brings satisfaction, whether its real or not, then again that makes you crazy... I tend to stay nuetral in hostile situations, I figure, hey if its not what you believe just let them be in their own world, stay clear and no conflict and occur.

As it is, i tend to agree. I can somewhat recall when i was that age, and i can honestly and without embarrasment say that i too was taken with the mystics of the world and convinced i could cast spells and do other incredible stunts with my mind. This is just what the age is. The difference between us now and then is now we have such things like the internet, which force young kids and adults alike into conversation with each other and therefore conflicts arise of this nature.
Never fear, everyone learns with due time the limitations of the human body and the world we live in. Which is why i don't let this stuff bother me as much as some other people do.

Once again, we have a thread that seems to want to make the sceptics the "bad guys".

If you want a bad guy, it should be those that would deny the public information. Brand those that would hold back and discourage those that have free thought, and may be able to contribute to the expansion of our knowledge- whether it be proving or disproving the paranormal.

Only through intellegant, open minded discourse can we gain any information and insight into the field of parapsychology- and in the process discover the processes of how the mind interacts with its environment.

I believe in the existance of the psychic phenomena- however, as I have stated repeatedly- I don't believe everything that is put forth in front of me. To do so is to display lack of free thought. I do not accept everything on blind obedience and faith. That leads only to stagnation- just as blindly dis-believing leads to stagnation.

I say again- if science is to expand our knowledge of this field, we must find that balance between belief and scepticism.

I could care less about spelling- but rather, posts like the one that started this thread kinda irk me- since I'm a very open minded person- having had my own experiences with ghosts, OBE's, premonitions, etc. I just don't see the need to start a thread that is most likely going to degrade into the sceptics and the believers trying to hammer away at each others egos. It's happend before, and I'm a little tired of it.

I must agree that those people make me wary of believing them.

I try to substantiate my experiences- and think of how the mechanics of physics can be applied to the psychic world.

I agree if you think psi is fake why don't you just leave the Forum and let belivers belive what they want?

Jacob I once thought like that too, but think of it this way, you stay here at first to learn abilities, but now to prove them. Skeptics have their right to uphold their opinion until proven otherwise; even after they can still believe whatever the want just as believers do. They stay to prove their point you stay to prove your point, thats how life works.

Because this site is for more than just believers. It is a site for the exchange of information- both for and against the exsistance of pychic phenomena- that's why.

I'm getting tired of the bickering that goes on sometimes between the two sides. We all have our opinions- you can accept them, or not. As a sceptic, I don't ask you to suddenly go, "I see the light- it's all fake!". All I ask is that you examine all the evidence presented for and against- and make an educated, informed decision.

That is all that the sceptics I know here ask.
