Full Version: World's scariest ghosts?

I've seen a short clip of a film called world's scariest ghosts. Looked awesomely creepy. The film has the famous demonologists, the Warrens on it too. The film shows some video footage taken by fixed cameras in some empty buildings or when the family is asleep. Suddenly the chair slides across the floor all by itself and a board is ripped of the wall by an unseen force. On another clip a mug moved on a table and a typewriter starts to write on its own and after that a rocking chair starts moving. It is supposed to be documentary about poltergeists and there's some freaky stuff going on. blink.gif

Is this show for real or is it another hoax? Have you seen it? Opinions or first hand knowledge needed! huh.gif

Are you sure it's the Walkers? The only famous demonologists I've heard of are Ed and Lorraine Warren and I'd take anything they were involved in with a grain of salt. They're sensationalistic and make too much money out of everything they do. Also, they were heavily involved in Amityville. I know there are people on this board who disagree about this, but personally I'm convinced that was nothing but a scam.

I've lost the book now and can't remember the man's name sad.gif but I read a book by a professional parapsychologist who went to Amityville when all of that first came out. He said one of the things they saw while they were there was a movie contract buying the rights to the couple's experiences in the haunted house that PRE-DATED their purchase of the house!

I'm thinking the guy who wrote the book was Richard something, but it's been years since I read it.

Hey, I agree with you on that. The whole Amityville thing was a joke. I seen on a news report that a family lives in the house right now and has been there years without experiencing anything like the family in the movie. The family that lives there actually watches the Amityville movies as if there were comedy's. Nothing has happend to them and probably never will, why? Because it was a hoax to make some money. "If" there is any activity it's about as much as any other paranormal site.
