Whoa! That startled me. I minimized it to see if anyone said what to look for, then after I read Burnside's "If you look at the ocean.." so I looked back at it all BOOM all of a sudden this big funky face.. made me jump.

I hate you I hate you I hate you. It's 1 in the morning. I will NEVER get to sleep after that. Thanks. Now I'm all jumpy and shakey.
I am so entirely stupid. I was looking at it going 'ya know... this looks awfully familiar...' And then I jumped 10 feet in the air.

If it is games that I don't need to have the speakers on or I have a bad feeling of...I just play them whitout sound... Because it is the sound that is scary...

Thank God I minimized it, and read further through the thread. I HATE being scared. It's my worst fear. Honestly, if I'm walking home alone at night (which i do quite often, from various places) I'm more afraid of being scared by something than i am afraid of getting killed.

and speaking of gullible, i once conviced a girl that my teeth fell out (i had 9 teeth pulled) because i started swearing. She didn't swear that whole day until i told her. Then i told her i was kidding about kidding about it, so she believed me again!

Jeez I hate those things. It took so long to come up that I came back to the thread to read on and hopefully get some clues as to what I was actually meant to be looking for. The scream got me though....

I've got a friend who gets the bejeezes scared out of her with these things. One time she ran out of the room and wouldn't go back in until her sister went in and turned it off...

There is one that is a game where you have to count the bottles of beer on the wall adn then the face appears and it screams.

And those horrid "webcam" ones. You may ahve seem the one where it says the webcam has been known to catch activity. So there you are sitting there, waiting for soemthing to appear when this girl comes whizzing out the door in the back of the picture and rushes up to the front where her freaky face fills the screen. *shudder*

Oh, and one more. There is one of a photograph. It says there is a ghost in the photo and you ahve to lean in really close to find it. It also says to turn up the sound on your computer because it's said that one can hear ...something. And, or course, up pops the face and the scream.

i knew what was coming, yet i still jumped.


also- for those who don't want to be startled, right-click on the picture. if it's a video, it will say "Rewind" "Fast forward", stuff like that. if it's just an innocent picture, it won't.

First off, I'd like to hurt Burnside (and not in a way he would like) for posting second in this thread and innocently advising us to look closely at the ocean because that's as far as I read before clicking on that godforsaken link...

Anson Kail - I saw one that was supposed to be a "new car advertisement". It had a white sedan driving around the bend in the middle of the country. Lucious trees, greenery, scenery and more...... then BANG - up jumps that damn face and scream.

That 'Spot 3 Differences' is a fake!!! I couldn't spot any difference whatsoever between 'em.. After my downstairs neighbour suddenly leapt into my monitor, I went back to the start, screen-grabbed the 2 pics and overlayed them. No difference!!!
