Is it a paranormal related video ? If so you could submit it to our video gallery and then post a link to refer everyone to it.

Alternatively you'll need to find some web space to upload it to. That can be a problem, most free hosts don't allow the use of the web space for bandwidth intensive purposes such as video or image hosting.

um. I don't think it fits any of your albums, excpet for Miscellaneous but I don't see that as an option when I go to upload. Should I just go for the one which fits it best?

Yeah just put it in any of them, i'll move it to the most suitable album when I add it, or create a new album for it if one is needed.

I've just tested the uploader and it's working fine, could be a problem with your browser or perhaps the site was down when you tried to do it before.

The system is definately working, several uploads have been made over the last couple of weeks.

What error did he get ? It's strange that you are both having problems uploading the video, because it's working for me and seems to be working for other people aswell. I can find nothing wrong with the uploader whatsoever.

What format is your video, and how large is it ?

The format is the file extension - for example .mov .mpeg .rm etc.

Ok that's the file uploaded and working.

For reference, the problem seemed to be related to the amount of time taken to upload larger video files. Smaller files upload ok, but larger one's may time out if they take longer than a certain time period to upload.

To fix this, i've increased the timeout value, which should now allow file sizes up to 30mb or more to be uploaded without problems on a 512k or higher broadband connection.

Your browser locking up sounds like it could be a Firefox problem.
