either that or somebody carved the symbols so they could write that it had a masonic connection.
see i've heard of the masons and they don't generally go around carving symbols on rocks which they then leave face down until some lucky guy with a backhoe comes along. They also don't bury their money in holes in the ground. i believe they use banks for that purpose

The masons don't, but the Templars habits are much less widely known. They did bury their treasure, after they lost their castles in Europe.

Thats true, they found a stone segment with a code written on it, i no everything there is to know about Oak island haha.. i can tell you how deep and at what feet they found something... but what struck me is that they found a rock and on it in another language said "15 feet below"... and yet nothing... i dont see why they cant just rip it up.. with todays technology, it shouldnt be a problem.
