Hi all, on the Friday the 9th of February 2001 at 0730 a huge orange ball with a black triangle frame like structure in the center was seen to fly over South Kirkby West Yorkshire England.
The object made a noise like a vacuum cleaner and was seen to just disappear.
Has any one else heard of anything similar?

I havent seen a big orange ball, but I saw a huge green glowing ball in the sky one time.  It didnt make any noise, but it moved in speeds and directions that I couldnt explain.  Than it just dissapeared.

Yes! I've seen a huge orange ball, except I hadn't really thought about it until I saw that painting of the one above the tower in Stockholm (on the images page). I think I was about 15 or so, and it was late in the evening, about 9, and my mum and I were standing outside. In the distance, we saw something that looked exactly like the sun setting, it was absolutely huge, and at first we thought it was the sun. But then we immediately realised it couldn't be, as it was IN FRONT OF the buildings that we usually would have been able to see ie blocks of flats etc. So it was higher than a block of flats, and glowing deep orange and yellow. No idea what it was, but very strange...

I saw a orange fire ball flying across the sky.It was at night about 7 or 8 o'clock In kings heath birmingham and it was Quite High up in the sky. It looked like a burning Comet. i was siting in the car with my brother When i saw it go past a tree and the flats. this tree was in a filed which was behind the flats. We watched it for about ten minutes until it went out of site. I've only just realised how strange this sigthing is after i read about the other sigthings on this page. Itis quite Similar to the other Orange fire ball reported except it was silent and did not have a triangle in it. This an'it the only strange thing i've seen.
