NEW YORK -- Federal investigators have arrested an enigmatic Wall Street wiz on insider-trading charges -- and incredibly, he claims to be a time-traveler from the year 2256!
Sources at the Security and Exchange Commission confirm that 44-year-old Andrew Carlssin offered the bizarre explanation for his uncanny success in the stock market after being led off in handcuffs on January 28.
"We don't believe this guy's story -- he's either a lunatic or a pathological liar," says an SEC insider.

You will never be able to go back to see the dinosaurs.
Unless a natural time portal that occured in nature was found then the only other way to go back is by using a man-made machine. Hence you would have to go back to another machine.
So if we invented a machine to go back in time, it would have to be one you could take with you (ie the car in Back to the Futue) or to a time when there is another machine to appear in.
Therefore it is popular belief that if we could time travel back in time it would only be to the time when the time travelling machine was first invented and working.

Now hang on a minute Paul ... are you trying to tell us that If you went back in time in a machine you could only go back to a time where machines existed or our transport would just vanish into thin air.. Rot ..That would mean that it would be impossible for a person to travel back to a time before they ever existed . What would happen would we slowly degenerate back to a fetal state .

I have watched documentaries where theorists have considered time-travel. Some
have considered the bending of space and time; however, it would require technology that we haven't yet mastered.
Also, some theorize that time and space aren't linear and that there are several dimensions and portals.
My theory is (1) He has gone to great lengths to change his name and details for committing the crime (2) He is what he says.
Personally, it would be hard to change your fingerprints; so if he is a fraud using an alias-they can use dna and fingerprints to find out more about him, or find his family.
I agree; if he is the real thing-he is not going free. Then again, if he is a fraud-he is not going free for now.

Wasn't Marty Mcfly a character in the Back to the Future movies?
