In San Fransisco there is a law stateing you'll receive a $50 fine if you set off a nuclear device in the city limits.
I'd be intrested to know the cryptid laws?

I live in NW Indiana. In the North Central part, is the city of South Bend. Most have heard of it. At least you've heard of Notre Dame.
There is a law in that city that states......
"It is illegal to make a monkey smoke a cigarette."

this just goes to show that current laws need to be relooked at as well as the constitution (I know, I'm canadian) but hey.... the King of England is not going to barge in your house (the reason U.S. citizens are allowed the right to bear arms)
I know "Bear" is an animal.... couldn't think of the proper spelling in this context

In 1969 following an outbreak of sightings and footprint discoveries, the board passed the world’s first Sasquatch protection ordinance. Killing a Bigfoot in Skamania Country carries a $10,000.00 fine and 5 years in prison.

These are hysterical! I like the bigfoot crossing signs! It makes me think of all the things you could do with bogus crossing signs. You could make a "cop xing" sign and put it up near the police station (if you were sneaky enough) and maybe, for those of you who are students, some sort of "forces of darkness xing" sign for the driveway to the teachers' parking lot.

If you kill it without a government permit for hunting an endangered species, then you will go to jail, and there will be a fine of $100 000.The new laws coming out against hunting endangered species are becoming much more harsh, and hopefully, people will eventually stop hunting endangered animals...

Ya, and who knows? Maybe the government has some underlying reason as to why "Women may not drive in a house coat." or how "Peacocks have the right of way to cross any street, including driveways." or "You are not permitted to wear cowboy boots unless you already own at least two cows." or "Ice cream may not be eaten while standing on the sidewalk."
