Human error was to blame.

What I found interesting was a man released a novel about a ship called Titan? which hit an iceberg and sunk about 10yrs before the Titanic sailed.
That would probably be the only spooky thing to the Titanic story.

It was the Titania - named after the Fairy Queen in Shakespeare's Othello. The book had a lot of similarities to the real event. Same day they sailed, the Captains had the same name, size of the ships was real close, etc, etc. I think that it's was a matter of coincidence, and the author being educated enough to make accurate guesses about a ship that size.

did'nt the titanic's sister ships meet a similar fate?was'nt the lusintania one of her two sister ships?seems all great vessels seemed to be cursed, the bismark sank on her first voyage, when the edmund fitzgerald slipped off it's dry dock,it scared a man so bad he had a fatal heart attack right there!

She was carrying the tomb of Tutankhamun. I've read in loads of places that the person to get hold of the tomb will have a bad luck and die.
The tomb had been cursed.

I think the Titanic sank about 11 years before they found King Tuts tomb?

The Titanic was carrying a valuable cargo - an Egyptian mummy. It was the body of a prophetess who lived during the reign of of King Tut father in law, Amenhotep IV. An ornament found with the mummy bore the spell: "Awake from the dream in which you sleep and you will never triumph over all that is done against you."

Due to its value the mummy was not to be carried in the liners hold, but in a compartment behind the bridge, on which the captain stood.

2) The titanic was one of 3 sister ships. One of them, cant remember the name, crashed in port, killing three workers aboard the ship. After being repaired it became a medical ship in WW1, and was sunk. Another, the britanic, was also sank, carrying supplys across the atlantic by a german u-boat.

Your wrong and right

The Titanic was sunk by hitting a ice berg by improper navigating and such, the Olympic, one of Titanic's sister ships sailed alot of nice cruises, never sank, in WW1 it was used as a battle ship to carry troops and supplys, it never did sink, eventually it was scraped, the Britanic the last sister ship of the titanic mysteriously sank near the coast of a island, it wasnt a war ship of any way but people believe that a torpedo or a mine sank it.

The Britannic was comissioned by the British army, she was painted white with red crosses and she was used as a hospital ship.

HMHS Britannic was lost on only her 6th voyage while serving as a hospital off the island of Kea, about 40 miles south east of Athens, Greece on the 21 November 1916. She was on route to the Mudros on the Greek island of Lemnos to pick up Allied WWI casualties bound for Southampton, England. Of the 1,134 people on board, 41 were injured and 30 perished in the Kea channel. Tragically, the majority of those who died were killed when their lifeboats were sucked under by the still-turning propeller as the stern of the Britannic started to rise out of the sea.

The most likely cause of the explosion that ripped open her bow compartment was a mine laid by U73 as she passed through the area on the morning of the 28th October 1916. However this still remains unconfirmed despite the efforts of the previous expeditions
