My favorit part is anything to do with Marvin the depressed robot!
Marvin is my HERO.
I just got through reading the part where Ford, Arthur, Trillian, and Zaphoid were being shot at by the galactic police, when suddenly they just killed over on account of their methane-breathing tanks shutting down which were supported by the police ship's computer. When they rushed out of the building back to the Heart of Gold, they see the Police ship by it dead. Beside it, is Marvin lying face down in the dirt. He admits to pluging into the ship's computer and talking to it.
Arthur asked, "What did you say to it?"
"I talked to it about my views on the Universe."
"Yes? Then what happened?"
"It commited suicide."

I'm sure you know they are making a movie about it, right? I went to a film festival in Austin, TX a few weeks ago and they had the screenplay writer/producer there showing some concept drawings and some pics of the Henson Creature Shop critters for the movie. It looks like it will be really cool.

I like the Babel fish, and it proving that God doesn't exist.

Yes, I have heard of the movie. It interests me a good deal, for how do they expect to cram all of that book into a movie... I mean, the size of those foot notes for crying out loud! So much information. They will either have to do it like they did lord of the rings, or trim up the movie so much that it's... well... terrible.
but at least the graphics will be better than that of the TV series they made an attempt at.

That movie was so lllloooonnnngggggg and i didn't find it good. My favorite part was at the end though were he starts to fill his wallet with leafs Just so stupid it was funny.

Which movie? They are just in the pre-production stages of the one I am talking about.
