Horror eh?

Well... i think a suspensful movie horror or not is always the best.
Movies that play with your mind are always intresting to watch.
The RING for instance had that vibe.... so did a few others...

Pure Blood and nothing else is just sickening to the stomach and not much of an EYE pleaser to me...

Horror is best in the teen slasher genre. It makes no claims to any form of legitimacy (or if it does, it is obviously false) has many scenes with nekkid girls and even more kill scenes. All in all, these are from the bottom of the barrel so far as cinematic quality goes, but are more fun the The English Patient will ever be.

As for a Top 5, here you go:
1. Jason Goes to Hell (Friday the 13th, part IX)
2. Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers
3. Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland
4. Slumber Party Masacre III
5. Friday the 13th, Part II

If you are looking for something different (perhaps something with more substance than the above 5) check out the following which appear in no particular order:

Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
The Blair Witch Project
Signs
Witchcraft V and later
Ammytiville Horror (but the In Search Of... special is better)
Waxwork
Slugs
The Ring

And if you are looking for a scarry selection of radio programs, check out The War of the Worlds, any version of Three Skeleton Key and most anything from the CBS Radio Mystery Theatre.

YEAH! Slasher Movies! Freddie is my HERO!

But seriously, how many ways can teenages be killed? Easy:

Jason(x) + Freddie(x) = Teens Killed in various ways

where x is how many movies they have so far

Return of the Living Dead 3 is still close to my heart, though.

Good list there, Space Moose!

I agree with Mystify the horror movies that just sneak up on you and then slap you in the face are the scariest to me.such as- The others,The excorsist,The ring,Signs. They don't have alot of gore but they keep you on the edge of your seat.Give me a good thriller anytime..... ohmy.gif
Bloated Corpse
I like all types of horror movies, especially B rated movies and Zombie Flicks. An off-shoot of the horror genre is the Sci-fi monsters, nothing like a good brain sucking alien from the planet Neubornium.

1: The Blair Witch Project
2: The Cube
3: Dark Water
4: Misery
5: Michael Jackson's interview...(wow that is a real horror show!) tongue.gif

1. Alien. Way better than the sequels, and yes, even the over the top "badass" shoot'em up second one. My younger still have yet to see the chest bursting scene in its entirety. The sad thing is that once you'd seen it and know all its surprises, it is not that scary anymore! sad.gif

2. Night of the Living Dead (original). Ugh!!! Give me NIGHTMARES!!!! I can't bare to watch this movie at times! blink.gif

3. The Omen. This movie is creepy. I can't still bare to watch the cemetery scene.... wacko.gif

4. The Haunting. Minimal special effects, just camera works and sound. Worked wonders!!!! thumbsup.gif

5. The Sound of Music. Ugh....Julie Andrews and those kids...no, just kidding. w00t.gif My fifth choice would be Halloween. The orginal before it was bastardized by inferior imitators and sequels! dontgetit.gif
Astrocreep
