Ernie the Werewolf meets Bert the Vampire in the Toronto SkyDome to battle to the death as part of the Grey Cup half-time show. Who is your money on to come out as the winner? Why is this your choice? Note: don't infer that it is the same Ernie and Bert from Sesame Street, just consider the natural abilities of a werewolf and a vampire.
This is a no holds barred match, but outside objects are NOT permitted. For fans of the WWE, this sort of fair fight might be hard to imagine, but run with it. This is a pure rend-and-tear sort of match, tooth and claw style.
Feel free to cite any pop culture refrence you like to sway the argument your way, or refer to more classical notions about these two abominations of nature - IT IS ALL FAIR GAME. Well, don't get too into different gifts that might be offered to either combatant if they were a part of the World of Darkness (for those of you who have no idea what that means, don't worry about it).
Personally, I think that the Werewolf is coming away with the win in this match. I reckon them to be slightly stronger than a vampire, although it would stand to reason that they are slower. Werewolves should also be bigger than a Vampire, giving the the edge necessary to rip that blood sucker apart.

I say Werewolf.
There's more bulk and muscle in a werewolf than in a Vampire.

Gooood question, one I have thought about often. It's a pretty even match I think. The Vampire's speed and agility vs the Werewolf's sheer muscle and agression. Vampires are good at stealth mode, Werewolves just tear 'em up.
I vote for the Wolf in a full-out hand-to-hand.
Just a thought: If it was a stalemate, would we end up with two Werepires, or two Vampwolves?

I think Goofy is a dog, but that was never made real clear. Walt musta got hold of some bad beer that day.
And what's the deal with Pluto? You got talking mice, ducks, squirrels, furniture, sea life, etc... Pluto is the only one whose character acts like what he is!

I also think that Goofy is a dog. It seems pretty obvious to me. If he was a cow, he would have horns. Or udders and an identity problem.
I think the bigger question would be, what are Goofy's neighbours? From the recent show (Goof Troop) and movies, there is this family living next to Goofy, but what the heck are they?

Pete and his son PJ are also dogs, but a different breed to Goofy and Max.
You can tell which is the cow, out of the disney characters, she is Clarabelle, she has a cowbell, clarence is a horse, he has a horse collar.

I would generally give a vamp the edge.
But after watching 'Underworld', I'm reconsdering that.
And if Faith the rogue slayer steps in, who's watching creatures of the night, anyway?

Goofy is a dog. In fact, he was originally known as "Dippy Dawg" until he procured the name we all know and love him as.
To get back on topic...
If you look at old legends about werewolves, some thought that when you killed a werewolf he (or she) would then become a vampire if the proper precautions were not met. Also, if you take into account modern movies (Van Helsing and Underworld specifically) the bite of one inflicted on the other would kill.
Throwing out all that nonsense, I think that in a beat down, tear 'em up, knockdown brawl it would be close. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. In the end, however, I think the werewolf would take down the bloodsucker through sheer bestial strength.

Vamp. Turns into a bat and guano's the WW's eyes, flys around behind and sinks teeth in, game over. Even if the WW manages to rip off a couple limbs, np np Vamp drinkin some good blood... what's a WW do with no blood? How strong is a vamp with WW blood?

Vampire... Being a re-animated corpse, it does not need oxygen. They Have unnatural powers, heightened bodily functions, and the ability to physically transform. Vampires are frequently held to have the ability to transform themselves into wolves. Though Werewolves are sometimes held to become vampires after death (trading up?).
They can fly. Have the ability to turn into straw, dust, or smoke, and then create winds as a means of propulsion. can walk about in the daylight, even bright sunshine, though apparently without the ability to use some of their powers, like shape-shifting, they are still strong and fast.
Traditional vampire folklore does not usually hold that sunlight is fatal to vampires though they are nocturnal. It is only with the film 'Nosferatu' that the daylight is first depicted as deadly to vampires...

i would love to see a ninja werewolf fight a shoalin kung fu using Vamp. My money's on my ninja werewolf though. Vamps have the invisibility thing, but it's usless against Werewolves smell. Werewolves are generally more agile and actually in most cases vamps are slower. Vamps have intellegence and could use more battle tatics.

Errr vampires cant turn werewolves and visa-versa; I think it just kills them. Vampires & Werewolves are sworn enemies...
...this may suprise you, but despite the fact I'm a furre, I like vampires more. o_o; Most werewolves don't even look like wolves. >< They just look like hairy humans with claws basically...and I'd have to say that in a fight I really dont know who would win...

This is a kid's game. This should be in the off-topic forum...actually it should be nowhere.
"Vampires are hot"?
Vampires are mythological creatures that are portrayed by hollywood as swank, pretentious gothic wierdos. Werewolves are derived from the myth that the full moon makes people act strange, and the wolf's tendency to howl at it. To even say "actually vamps are slower" is absurd since nothing is "actual" about "vamps" at all.
Neither would win, since they are not real. You might as well posit the truly timeless question of who would win in a fight between He-Man and Lion-o of the Thundercats.
"Ninja werewolves" and "shaolin vampires" is just too preposterous a concept to even make fun of.

This is just my take on this, but some people like playing ‘what if’. But it seems that if you don’t support the ‘established’ explanation in these discussions, you get called stupid / retarded or uneducated or asked ‘where’s your PROOF’... Pretty hard to have interesting discourse under those conditions... Just my 2 cents...
