As some people have pointed out, these predictions are based on 'current knowledge/events' and could as easily have been predicted by anyone.

What I'd like to ask Ms Browne and the rest of the 'psychic woo-woo's' is how the hell did they miss predicting the recent Tsunami in Asia.

I mean here they are predicting aliens, who's marrige will break up, who wants a baby etc and they ALL missed out on the worst natural diasaster in history

Silvia is a hasbeen I don't see why Montel and his audiences can subject themselves to that b.s. I believe there are some people that have that 'sixth sence' and can use that part of the brain to forsee the future... but Silvia Browne is not for real.

Here's something ALL of you who don't believe her save your money up and then get a plane ticket and then see her. AND then come back here and then tell us if half of the stuff she said to you was right. I look forward to her on Montel seeing how the rest of the stuff on tv is s&&t anyway! I know some of her predictions are out there and can be easily explained due to regular weather paterns. And celebs having kids and breaking up. I still like to watch her if I don't miss the show or working. You can have your views I don't give a damn but for once in my life I would love to have someone on this site and on tv to actually validate something and not dismiss it as science and crap.

Woah! Calm down Rommie. It wasn't a personal blow to you. I liked her until she started to seem so 'guessy' on things. If she is so good and she is such a great psychic, why doesn't she help solve crimes and solve the unsolved mysteries? How about the mystery on Kurt Cobains supposable suicide? Or Marylin Monroes? Or Jon Benets Murder? I think that is more important to know and put people to justice than find out if Britney is gonna have a baby or not. Unfortunatly, I won't waste my money to go see her, Montel maybe, John Edwards maybe, Oprah and Ellen fo sho. But when you go, how bout you ask her those questions above, I believe that the world would enjoy the truth. have a safe trip!

I have one of her astrology books. Never before hers have I actually wanted to get a refund on a book, I hated it. She goes below the belt on EVERY sign, and just because she's some *supposed* psychic she can make these completely out-of-context (and I might add, ultimately way off) remarks about people.

You were so quick to cut down her predictions...how about your post a few of your own...maybe we can have some fun with them.

Sylvia Browne is more on the mark then most psychics I have seen or heard. I have personal experience with her. So I know.

I will agree some of her predictions are generic and need a little more detail but she WAS on TV and the time frame she had to talk about the future of our planet was probably fairly short. If you want more details buy her book "Predictions" you might be impressed.

Another thing, alot of people do not understand why it is that some Psychics have a hard time predicting the huge disasters and travesties. I might be wrong here but the following makes sense to me. We are all here to learn certain lessons, to follow a path we wrote out for ourselves. We are all in soul groups and we all plan our families and hardships and joy and happiness. I believe that there are certain things that cannot be predicted, almost like someone has blocked them off. The reason this is done I beleive is so that we can learn certain lessons, experience what we want and need to experience to progress our souls. THIS makes sense to me. I mean if a 6 yo child CHOSE to have a certain type of cancer so that she can know what it is like to die at 8 or if the thousands of people that died in 9/11 chose to die to show us that the world is changing and we need to change with it (mind you I think Mr. Bush saw this message wrong and went to war instead of trying to find a way to bring the world together for peace) anyways all these people lived their lives, learned their lessons, they loved, they hated, they cried. But they lived the way THEY chose to live. And died how they chose to die.

While I do believe that sylvia can communicate with the spirit world, I do not see what this has to do with predicting the future. That's quite a leap if ya ask me because it's like two different things. Guess I don't really pay attention to predictions. My fav sylvia/montel stories are the baby pix with lights and the story about the swimming that was empty in the morning. What are yours??

Actually, I tend to delete all of the Sylvia Brown episodes of Montel out of Tivo. However, I did watch 2 episodes last year and one of them was in October 2004. On that show Sylvia advised viewers to avoid travel to India due to safety concerns. When the tsunami happened 2 months later I remembered what she had said. Ew-eeeee-ew.

She told people to stay away from the Indian Ocean bordering countries and Indonesia during the December because something was going to happen terrible. But I dont know if I believe Sylvia or not, I just know she said that.

I know that it is hard for people to believe in what they don't understand, but if everyone would take the time to read and research instead of assuming, things would definitely seem more clear. I have read every book by Sylvia Browne, and watched every Montell show she was on. I know that she knows what she is talking about. In her latest book, Secrets and Mysteries of the World, she says "Read everything with an open mind and with discernment, and don't believe something just because I (or someone else) say it's true...you will and should find your own divine truth, which is yours alone." "Take with you what you want and leave the rest behind." Read and research!!! I promise that if you read all of her books, you would understand a lot more that you do now.

For many years people have claimed that the future holds an armageddon. They also theorize that God/Jesus is going to come down one day and take all of the people who have been saved back to Heaven, and damn the rest of us to hell forever. Where is the substance in that theory?
