Not a real one...I don't think.

He LOOKS like one of those infamous "werewolves" that come out of South America, which is basically a birth defect that covers the persons face, and entire body, in thick black hair.

Though this is slightly different...the kid has more of a "primate" look to him than a "werewolf" look.

Yeah it does look like a chin strap... or a beard.

Ok I did some searching...

SHE is "Krao - The Missing Link" and was around 7 or 9 and performed in Guillermo Antonio Farini's circus in the early 1900's.

In 1882 Farini, Zazel, and some other stars under contract with him appeared in Barnum’s “Greatest Show on Earth” for a successful American tour, at the end of which he organized a freak show at the Aquarium: these entertainments had become popular by the 1870s. His first big headliner was “Krao - The Missing Link,” a dark-skinned child seven to nine years old with an appearance unique enough to deceive people, for she had “fur-like body hair, which grew on her forehead, most of her face and all her limbs.” It was also claimed that her chubby cheeks had inner pouches in which she kept fruit. Moreover, she possessed a double row of teeth in her upper jaw.

Missing link or not, her appearance was an incredible draw, and Farini carefully presented her as a “scientific and anthropological phenomenon rather than a monster.”

Can't find anything else.
Walken
He presented her as an object for their amusment/amazement for his own benefit; not for the benefit of science.

Yes, it's real.

I think it's just a deformed little girl. Or the offspring of an unidentified primate.

Yeah I mentioned those South American kids earlier.

The difference is is that the little girl is much more monkey-like and is covered in less hair.

They are mexican actually and they have a hereditary disease that causes their hair to grow like that. They work in a circus doing different things ( juggling, trapeze, and flipping around in a trampoline) they have average skill. i'ved seen them may time in spanish variety shows and in the history, discovery, sci-fi, and learning channel. alien.gif alien.gif alien.gif alien.gif alien.gif alien.gif alien.gif alien.gif alien.gif

I thought Mexico is considered to be a part of South America.

Anyway, they're different to what we're seeing here.

This girl looks more chimpanzee than human...check out the legs, feet, hands and face...

Perhaps she's a scientific impossibility...perhaps her mother had "relations" with a chimpanzee, gorilla or orangutan, had the little girl and, being scared out of her mind, dumped the baby which found its way to its "owner".

If this is the case the girl most likely didn't live past 10, most anomalies like this don't live for very long. Which would explain her disappearance.

No, she looks like a normal human to me, except with extra hair. Her legs, feet, hands, and face are normal... Nothing monkey there.

mr_halo

well the man and the boy/thing are real, but it looks like they've been pasted onto another background, anyway...

i see no reason why this couldn't be real, a feral child or something....

i always wanted to do a topic on freaks, but i though it would be offensive, so i didn't....

Look again.

The torso, back, bottocks are not human. The features are distinctly ape-like, her body is covered in loose skin and she appears to have over-developed breasts for her age.

Also check out the ears, the overall shape of the skull and the particular placement of the hair.

Look at the way she's is holding onto the man. Any other human would find that position uncomfortable, yet she looks perfectly at ease. Only monkey's hang onto things in that fashion.

The Skeptic Eric Raven
The most simple explanation would be a genetic defect. I would go with that one instead of the more far out ones put forward.
