Who here has ever met celebratey? I met a whole bunch at V 2004 after my friend got us backstage tickets because her brother was working there. I met Chris Collingwood (Fountains of Wayne aka Stacys mom) Snow patrol, Scissor Sisters, Kings of Leon, Dido, Muse. That was prettey cool. and my step dad used to work with Joe Pas Quale.

Me? no, i havent. Ever. But i've seen a few. Do you know why i never encountered them? Because in hawaii, and most celebs know this, we like to leave them to enjoy their time here. We don't go flocking up to them screaming "OMG CAN I HAVE AN AUTOGRAPH!!!!" Most people here just say "hi" and go about their buisness. Like my step father. He met Clint Eastwood while on his lunch break over near one of the big hotels.

Then they went about their buisness. As simple as that.

Thats prettey cool. They wern't allowed to sign autographs at V Festival, except in an autograph tent which you had to que up for four hours to get into. They were allowed to greet us in a laid back fashion though, and I shook hands with Chris Collingwood. He is the coolest. Did you know he can play all of the following instruments?

i have a friend that was taught by chuck norris's friend so i got plenty of chances to meet chucky...i meet leanne rimes when see wasn't popular yet(a friend of mine was her neighboor). i have seen joe montana the quarterback, some wwf wrestlers, and tim pawlenty (our governor).

I haven't, but my mom, as I said on another thread, met both Pretty Boy Floyd, a famous gangster (do outlaws count?) and President Truman. And (here's a name I bet half of you don't know! ) my dad once spent an hour or two fishing with Bing Crosby. Dad was fishing up in the mountains of Oregon, near a hotel, and a limo pulled up on the road over the bank, the chauffeur brought down a folding chair and a tackle box and Bing came down and sat and started fishing. My dad, who took pretty much anything in stride, just sat and fished and they chatted about the weather and the fish and stuff. After awhile the chauffeur came back and got the chair and tackle box and Bing left.

I once found myself standing next to Sean Connery on a street corner in Glasgow.

....of course that turned out to be a movie poster, but still...for a moment, I was really excited.

Anyway, about the closest I've come it being at a live show the WWE put on, although I wasn't close enough to interact with the wrestlers in any personal basis.

I have met Lleyton Hewitt, a lot of Australian Footballers and basketballers..... Lleyton would be the only name I can remember ive met that someone outside of Australia would know though.....

I've met a few, but I forgot who they were... Hmmmm, must not have been a big deal then. I know someone who met Rupert from Survivor, lol. That would be cool...

Well i met Hillbilly Jim, a WWE wrestler back in the 80's, at a WWE show in Greensboro a couple months ago. He and a bunch of other wrestlers from the 70's, 80's and early 90's where sitting in the lobby promoting Wrestle Mania.

I met Hermoine from harry potter at a gig. My friend tried to chat her up at a previous occasion but she told him she didn't have a phone...

I've met several celebrities over the years with my job I do find myself in contact with them on a semi regular basis. Hmmm I'll list a couple of my favorites; I've hung out with Jello Biafra several times over the last couple of years he's a pretty cool guy and a blast to have coffee with. I've been invited backstage to a bunch of Sonic Youth shows, they're pretty fun and I'll always treasure my times hanging out with them backstage. I was given VIP passes to Phish's IT festival in 2003 so I got to sit a talk with them for awhile when they weren't preforming, really nice guys. I've met BB King a few times but only in passing, I really only got to say hello. There are many others but nobody to remarkable or all that special.

When I was eight years old, I saw Mr. T on the expressway. When I was ten, I saw Nicholas Cage at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. And when I was twelve, I saw Jerry Springer on the airplane I was on, which was headed from Los Angeles to Chicago.

I found out i'm good luck at concerts for some reason out of pure luck the last three i have been to i have gotten to meet the singers. I bumped into litterly Al Jourgenson from Ministry on the way to the bathroom. I met Celldweller. An last but not least i have pics of me and Dani Filth from cradle of filth.

Alright, when i went scuba diving with some friends at whytecliff park(BC, Canada, where i live) we saw Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner there shooting a movie, and then after they also went diving. Bodyguards and new vehicles and all that stuff waiting for them to finish.

I've seen Christina Aguilara in person... she came and stayed at the resort I worked at a few years ago. She's really really short, and honestly quite unattractive without any of her makey up on. she looked like a boy.

I also waited on Judge Mathess (not sure how you spell it ) from Court TV in the Detroit area when I was a waitress.
