Full Version: Matriarchical Energies

This is a subject I recently became interested in.

Just as everything in the universe is composed of the One creative power, this One is split into Projective and Receptive forces, sometimes referred to as Male and Female, or God and Goddess. Each of these, in turn, is broken into many different attributes called by many different names. Everything depends on the balance and harmony of these opposing forces.

I've been doing a little research on the internet and have found some good website this one being my favorite so far:

http://www.crystalinks.com/matriarchal.html

I am curious as to thoughts of other members and sharing any information you may have. Are we out of balance? Will the Age of Aquarius restore our balance? Does this explain the increased and/or renewed interest in our personal spirituality and the paranormal, supernatural, etc?

We are returning to the power of the passive femintivity, to the mother maiden and crone.

Women are standing up and being recognised.

The scales are shifting, the tides are turning; and I for one and glad of it.

But still there is a way to go. hmm.gif

I am glad that some recognise that the "One power" or whatever is genderless, holding the power of the two.

Going on and on...... grin2.gif o well I like this topic

Are there particular reasons that you feel we are returning to balance? What is creating the movement to balance? Something specific? Written in the stars? And what do you interpret as passive femininity?

*preens* Man has worshipped women before... long long before this nonsence of wars and need for aggressive man gods... We were a mystery to them... respected.. not owned as cattle... made to be subordinant...

We gave life... we bleed... we survive.

Feminests tend to forget they mysteries.. and burn thier bras ;P silly twits.

I have been trying to think of real and tangible things that would indicate a return to balance. Not just women are strong, they're in politics, hold full-time jobs, etc. Mostly because I think women have always done these things, just not as publicly as now (thanks to the media, perhaps?).

What about stay-at-home Dads, though? What are the statistics on that? A stay-at-home Dad was unheard of when I was growing up.

Men as nurses? Would a bit of a search on the internet find that this is also on the rise? Who was the first male nurse? How long ago was it? I certainly never saw a male nurse when I was a kid.

And are these even an indication of a return to harmony of these opposing forces?

See fellas, this is what happens when you let women out of the kitchen for too long.

Sounds like perhaps you are not in touch with your feminine side?

That's okay, sarcasm is so attractive in men.
