Didnt you do something similar when you were a child? Notice the average age of the people in the psi section... you'll notice that most of them are children.
SilverCougar
Why stop it? Hell it's like asking people to stop having an imagination... and if that's the case, might as well ask all sorts of artists stop being creative...

If someone wants to believe they can fly... let them. What harm is it to you?

You wouldnt mind having a child who thinks he/she can fly? Doesnt that sometimes lead to the kid actually trying to do it by jumping off of something tall and then getting hurt?
IamFS

I think people just like to complain about nothing,
not taking sides but you have a choice whether you want to answer or even participate.

Only if the parent doesn't teach the kid about something importaint... like gravity ;P

If (and this is a HUGE if) I ever have a kid, and he desides he can fly... first I'll make sure he'll understand that he can't because of gravity... but then maybe encourage that imagination... maybe he'll come out to be a piolet...

did any one notice that he spelt bored wrong? or did he, maybe im the one who spelt it wrong, maybe its a government conspiracey, maybe the american government is all brainwashing us!
Kat_Kloud
Yeah he talks about bored kids when he's probably a bored kid himself. He must have been interested in something to find his way to this site. Besides, if we all stopped coming, what would Saruman think!? He'd be out of a job.

Plus this is a nice place to learn stuff. Just random things where you go, "Hey I never knew that but I still could have survived if I didn't."

As do a few people here to the kids in the psi section. We're not trying to hurt their imagination, we're trying to show them reality.

He spelt it right. So did you... except "board" is like card board and bored is the lack of anything fun/interesting.

Whether people should or should not believe that something is paranormal is not for you to decide, everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Seeing as this thread seems to be aimed solely at criticising certain beliefs amongst the paranormal community and has nothing particularly constructive to offer, I don't see any reason for it to continue.
