Will UFO activity over Port Richey be acknowledged by the government in 2005? Philomena Poland doubts that will happen. A self-described psychic who said she had premonitions about the Sept. 11 attacks and the death of Princess Diana, Poland said she has always felt there was extraterrestrial activity in the Port Richey skies, "but the government always wants us to be hush-hush about stuff like that.'' "I just feel there's a lot going on that we're not supposed to know, but you can see it and feel it,'' she said. As a new year approached, Poland and fellow psychics Sandra Spaldi and Helen La Forest offered premonitions for 2005. Each psychic is associated with the Holiday Metaphysical Chapel on Auld Lane. Spaldi said she believes everyone in the world is psychic, but not everybody knows it. She is a certified medium and pastor of the Holiday chapel on Auld Lane, east of Grand Boulevard. "From what I see and feel, the U.S. is going to stop giving a lot of money to countries that really hate us,'' said Spaldi, who said she knew she was ``gifted'' since childhood.
