I think there was a cryptid in dallas a couple of years back. It had a nasty habit of lieing around on grassy knoles and shooting passers by.

I live in austin and san antonio. There is El Chupacabra. and my grandmother and father-in-law both claimed to have seen El Lechusa. <----I wouldn't take it into much consideration I it wasn't for mi abuela's claim though. let me see...what else is there...the donkey lady

Ha ha ha... the creature from Texas that moved to Washington is Bush, duh
I hope I will never see Bigfoot, etc because I live in The Country & The City ha ha
but seriously I have to travel through dark roads deep in the country where the trees, scrubs & weeds are too think to see anything. I'm from Lampasas, near the Highland Lakes but the scariest places to drive is in Oakalla. I absolute hate driving in those woods. ha ha silly me... I know
Our "Real" monsters are the snakes, scorpions, spiders etc

This thread is turning into more of a debate of land between Canada/Alaska and Texas. Anyways, this is honestly the only real cryptid based on Texan sightings of cryptids, Bigfoot.

i just remembered something from my childhood when i was reading about the thunderbird. i used to go fishing with my dad at lake saint patrick in quebec canada. My dad used to tell me how the natives around there believed that the storms and high waves where caused by a thunderbird. if i remember correctly they are believed to be large eagles and the flap of their wings caused the wind and the thunder. i think the lighting is from the friction in the air caused by their flight. anyways it scared me at the time.
