the preview of this movie suggests that it is based on facts...but it is of course a movie...
I have heard of evp before...but I don't know if they are using actual samples or what.
Either way, I want to see it. It looks interesting

I am! It looks creepy. My ex thought I was crazy to watch it and that I knew so much about EVP. Oh well...

I'm definitely seeing this. As for it being based on facts, I'd say it loosely is. I doubt the exact story of the movie is true but some parts of the movie could be from real experiences, after all there are tons of EVP recordings out there, it wouldn't be too hard to base a movie on it.

Based on facts, but it's a movie so they have embellished a little.

Think of it like this: when we go see a cop movie they spare us all the boring stakeouts and paperwork, same here. All the excitement and even some evil creatures too!

Real EVP doesn't seem to be anything like that. But the movie does look like a scary one!
