I'm sorry if i'm bringing up old news (i'm new) But i was really interested in this story, i was wondering if anyone has heard or seen one of these things recently. If i lived up in that area of Canada i would like to hunt out for one of those things.

Shai_Hulud
Is it some kinda of a bird or what?

it's a thing from a book of monsters or something. It's red skinned very muscular, has spines on it's back, quote from the story, "Billions of teeth." very fast, incredible strength, and a very loud monster. possibly a demon, others say maybe a human that was tested on and deformed

Oh yes,i remember reading. It was a gruesome story, and seemed quite believable for some reason. It was said to be a chupacabra that looks like this...

No someone said it wasn't a chupacabra, because thouse are only like 3 feet tall, this thing was like 6 or 7 feet tall, and when it ran, it ran on all fours.

I guess, you must know more about it than i do, i just thought it was a really freaky story. I'm not trying to sound rude. And in another story about it from someone who was attacked by one, said he moved to some small town, and saw that thing again whistling like a song and that disappeared.

It'a alright cool.gif Yeah,it was a woman and her dog(golden retriever) that were there during the encounter with the creature. Her husband was away for a week because of work. The man and woman were in their 40's.This encounter was on a farm somewhere in the US.Eventually, after all the sounds, the dog literally went crazy, and got outside through the front door, heard some fighting, then there was silence for about 5 minutes. The woman went outside, and saw her dog ripped to pieces, with blood splattered everywhere(very gruesome). Then after she went back inside, the loud "whistling" kept going. She told her husband when he got back, they moved to the next state, and that creature(or one similar)bothered them there too.(According to how the story is)some say it was a demon, some say it was a chupacabra(many say that),and some say it is some kind of unidentified creature...

Hey actually I have heard of such a monster, from a role-playing game book sorry! I believed it was the d20 modern menace I think.I don't have the book with me right now but I believed that it was classified as an outsider(fiend) .

Can you tell me anymore about that book/game? And how is this role playing game played?

Whenever someone mentions a whistling creature it always makes me think of this guy:

The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers

Anyway, I know what your talking about. I don't know what it's called or even if it has a name but I can remember a guy coming a posting something about a whistling creature when I first joined this forum.

I did a search and found the topic - http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum...topic=19851&hl=

It's the same thing. He read a story about it in a book a monsters from the 50's. It is red skinned, muscular, has lots of teeth and whistles. The poster then goes on to say that his friend who lives in Canada had an experience with such a thing.

Maybe Victor Salva (the writer/director) based The Creeper on this story 'cos they seem quite similar.

Its a roleplaying game using d20 system, instead of fantasy gaming you have modern characters, guns, government conspiracies, cops. Anyway the book is a compendium of monsters from myth and legends, they even have bigfoot and the loch ness monster in it laugh.gif .
