Does anyone know of any stories about creatures here in Des Moines, Iowa? Sorry if this is on the wrong bored to ask this.
Austin#1
OOPS I mean any cryptids type creatures.
BurnSide
That's a pretty small area to narrow down cryptid urban legends too.
Anything special happen there as to why you'd think there would be any cryptids in the area?
Austin#1
No, not that I know of. I was just curious to see if there was like a bigfoot type thing, or a chupacabra thing, or like a Dover demon thing. Because i would like to track it down, and capture it, and show everyone that this does exist.

Maybe they have something in the local library there?
I dunno where else you could look.

I'll do a search on the computer

I couldn't find anything really, but there was something about a half man/ half pig guy. But it didn't say exactly where it was.
BurnSide
cryptids are very very rarely based in one area.
bigfoot like creatures are spotted everywhere in the US, canada, etc etc.
BurnSide
BTW, if professionals have been searching for these creatures for years and years and haven't found anything, why do you suppose you can go out in your backyard and capture something to prove to the world it exists?

That's like saying 'i'm gonna go to the moon tomorrow, just because i can'. Well, no, you can't.

It's nice to have dreams to follow. grin2.gif
What sort of area is it around you Austin?
Start off small, you never know what you may find out there.
