Silent-Storm
I havent heard of that game before, how do you play it.....
tendo

neo cloud 8900
yeah. you use the right and left analog sticks its fun
BurnSide
Maken X.

A fantastic Dreamcast first person game where you play a sword that changes it's shape and attributes according to the person who holds it. If you possess a Pilot, they will have low strength but if you posess a Warrior you have amazing abilities, etc.

It was really fun!
ChrisC098
Grim Fandango
Beyond Good and Evil
Talon
Suikoden 2. Breath of Fire 3.
Janiel
You think you got your point across there, Talon? laugh.gif

<bleeding_heart>
Gothic 1 & 2
Janiel
Oh god, don't get me started on Gothic...oh how i hate them <_<
They were like a trap, once you played them you would get stuck in them for days at a time. Just ask my ex's father. He's been addicted to them for months....gah. Still not as bad as everquest but hey, it's still a trap. That it all that man would talk about....he even tried to get my brother and I into it...bleh.

Guardian’s Crusade was a good one. I enjoy playing it every once in a while. original.gif
riotboy555
animal crossing for the gamecube, and the dynasty warriors series on the ps2
neo cloud 8900

Hotoke
yeah dynasty warriors is a big hit in japan and us
Yona
I liked Final Fantasy 3 for game boy. very old game, but real fun to play. it was the first game I ever had for Game boy, and the first Final Fantasy game I played.

I also enjoyed wild 9 for playstation. To my knowledge it was not a very popular game, but it had it's prks for me!
Talon

That got hammered by the reveiwers. It was actually rather funny, one issue of Playstation power had a twopage inleft advert for it were they were quoted as saying '96% - one of the greatest RPS this year'... turn to page 97 and in thre view section '25% - So poor you'd think it came with a McDonalds happy meal'
Talon
Dynasty warriors is huge here.
Dowdy
Commandos 2 & 3

one got quite a bit of attention but i hardly knew anyone who played 2 or 3
Hotoke
commando's 2 and 3 is truly something for the fans

i played both of them with my miniature giant space hamster. those games are certainly one of the best rpg's out there. did you play icewind dale?
neo cloud 8900
i never played either of those.
The Raven
Warlords Battlecry Series

The greatest Role-playing Real Time Strategy series of all time, and the first to use heros and add a big role playing side. Now because of its old engine, the latest installment is simply shunned and all the fame goes to Warcraft. Warcraft this, warcraft that, WOW...literally, wow. It does not impress me that SSG and Steve Fawkner with his team of veterans from gaming and Warlords do not get the fame they deserve. Just you wait though, in the next 1-2 years I see Warlords Battlecry IV being a turning point, full 3d, and blowing Warcraft finally, in the dust.

BTW, Warlords has gotten good reviews by nearly everyone that plays it, yet it still seems to be as some would say, "Underground"

Eternal Darkness, a very good game!
Shakezulah
Eternal Darkness blows. i hated that game so much. it didnt get that much attention, no, but it got the exact amount it deserved. i think the Onimusha games for the PS2 didnt get enough attention. the first one did but after that, they kinda faded away. but they all still rock.
Dowdy
Heart of Darkness was a good game. The only one i know who played it are my friends who got my burnt copy tongue.gif
mr_halo

Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind.... this game is awesome.... the expansions made it even better.... seems no one really knows too much about... me and my bro are the only people I know that play it...... I just like the fact that you don't "have" to do anything....

That's why I love it, the choices you have are almost endless....I just wish the fighting system was better.....next time I guess
Hotoke
yeah did you see the screens of oblivion? simply amazing and they promised to improve the battle system.
neo cloud 8900

Blood Angel
Master of Orion 2, quite simply the greatest turn based strategy game EVER. Blows all of sid meiers civs to pieces, along with any other game that has tried to take the title. Its old, and runs on a 486, but advancement of graphics hasn't touched this game one bit. It relies on gameplay, rather than graphics - of which not many games can stand up to. Infinitely playable, well worth shelling out £5 for. MOO3 was crap, don;t even bother mentioning THAT abomination, they tore the series to shreds with that, a sad day indeed.
Xenojjin
Sky blazer ( Snes )
Really good platformer , but for some reason they hired no one to advertise it so it never got much attention .

Guilty gear [first one] ( ps1 )
Why people ignored this and went on to guilty gear x and XX which play the same is beyond me .

breath of fire 3 ( ps1 )
The only good breath of fire game . The dragon Ascension system was one of the tightest elements Ive seen in an Rpg .

-some weird korean game- ( GameBoy )
I have no idea what this game is called as its written in korean . The game cartridge is silver ooOOOoooOOO ...... Very good scrolling shooter where you play as a number of charachters . You can have 4 gunman at your command or you can have 3 ninja's , or many other combos . I ussually just had 1 ninja and then suped him up with tons of powerups .

I worked on Heart of Darkness when I was at Interplay. It was a cool game.

Too bad Interplay went under, over 500 people lost their jobs; some really great developers too. It was figured out that we were receiving about half of what we were supposed to in income because of piracy.

If you think it isn't a big deal to get a burned game, think again. You are not only screwing the developer out of the money they should get, but you are also screwing yourself for the fact that the developers do not have the money to develop any new games.

Fallout Tactics
MonkeyBall(GameCube)
Metal Slug(Neo-Geo)

Final Liberation

I'm a massive fan of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k, but i found shadow, and final (although it was epic 40k) to be a bit disapointing. I hear dawn of war is pretty good, i have yet to get it, didn't think much of rites of war either. The only two great warhammer 40ks i did like was Space Hulk: Vengence Of The Blood Angels (grin2.gif) - and Space Crusade (commodore 64/286 classic.)

Interplay were brilliant, loved some of their early Star Trek adventure games (judgement rights, and the other one, and the generations one!) - and i still got them.

I enjoyed both shadow and final L. I found them to be a lot of fun and good games for the time. I never got to play rites of war though. I recommend Chaos Gate if you are a Warhammer fan. It I think was the best of all their games untill Dawn of War. I have it grin2.gif It's everything I would have ever wanted from a 40k game. The only drawback to it is that you can't play all the races. They are mods you can DL that add races to the game. Most are still in development though. thumbsup.gif
Blood Angel
Thats if i can even find chaos...had loads of trouble getting rites. Rites is ok, i wouldn't discount it - you play as eldar in the campaign, although you can play all other races in skirmish. Its sort of like steel panthers - except the graphics are better and its War 40k. The thing that annoyed me about final, was you could only play as either Orks or imperium - i wanted eldar, tyranids, chaos etc etc - you get them in rites though. Rites is better than final in terms of gameplay (and all the races), but the graphics on final are better.
strichar
Yeah that was the only thing that bothered me about final L. I did find a mod that allowed you to play as chaos. That was pretty neat.
Blood Angel
Hmm do you know if dawn of war has squats in it? or any of the really old races?
neo cloud 8900
i never played it
jpalz
Mmmmkay, lemme remember:

Grim Fandango was a really great game. Only played the first CD, but a really great game grin2.gif. I also loved The Longest Journey. If you like graphic adventures, give it a shot.

The other game I found it was awesome was Gabriel Knight 3. Man I love it!! grin2.gif

What else? Mmmm... I dunno, when I think of more, I'll post
Neo2005
i think the most underapprecaited game ever would have to be the Original NES game Star tropics
