I've noticed that sometimes when people quote, everything is there execpt the quoting box and you can see the tags. What's up with that?

There seems to be a problem with the quoting system which hasn't been fixed yet, i've been looking into it but haven't been able to find the cause.

Do you know of any specific examples I can take a look at ?

or how about when you can't see the reply tabs? I've gotten use to clicking on a white, blank spot where I know the tab was before.

That sounds like a problem with your browser.

Try right clicking on that area and selecting 'show picture'.

I've yet to see any problems with the quoting system except when the wrong tags are applied. Like this for example:

There was a problem where more than 10 sets of quote tags were used in a single post, however it turned out that it was because of a limit set by the forum to help prevent crashes on some browsers caused by excessive quotes. The limit has now been upped to 15, with an error message coming up to tell the user to reduce the number of quotes if they exceed it.

I have to admit that I haven't found any other problems with the quotes, so I really will need an example of this new error before I can do anything about it - unless as Burnside suggested you did just use the wrong tags Curiosity.

No, I know what Curiosity is talking about. The same day you revealed the new blog system, a lot of people were having problems with the quote system. I know I did...*thinks*...someone else did too...I think it was joc? It's fixed now, but I know I was using the correct tags and all. Hmmm. Well, it's all good now.
